Default Real World consequences: Advanced AI becomes mainstream

Out of all the crazy Sci-fi scenarios out there, this is the one most likely to happen in our lifetime.

    Here is the scenario:

The Year is 2040, machine learning, robot technology have advanced to advanced to such a degree that robots are capable of doing most if not all of our jobs for us. A few creative jobs and political positions are still manned by people, but the vast majority of professions are seeing a drastic decline in their human workforce. How would this effect human society. Since society has existed it has been built around the concept of human labor. What will happen when that is no longer the case?

The death of Capitalism. The current system is based on the ability of the average person to find work. But in a world where machines can do most jobs at a comparable if not better level then humans, this system falls apart. A lot of capitalist don’t want to hear this. I mean just the forms of AI that we know work and will be here in the near future, is going to annex enough jobs to put us over Great Deppression levels of unemployment.

Yep. An Ultron-like situation is around the corner and unfortunately we have no Avengers to save us
