Default New to comics, inherited extensive collection.

Hello everyone, I'm new to this world and doing some research after "inheriting" a pretty large comic book collection (some 150+ so, large by my standards). I noticed there are 25 of one particular book. 1st of the Torment series. All the different covers and two are signed with letters of authenticity. Please understand that I have no idea what I am looking at so needing a little help with these. All seem to me to be in good condition (none have been opened) but I am certainly no expert. Would love to email a picture of these particular books to get some insight. Thanks for your help.

Torment? Wasn’t that in the 1990’s. If your collection is from the 90’s then you could start from there. Look on a search engine for the covers or story lines from the books and catalogue them, then come back on here and somebody will be able to help you with any questions. Bring a list of books you have in the collection.

So, one of them is this one. Right?

First issue of the adjectiveless Spider-Man series.

Spider-Man #1 was published with variants of the same image with different webbing colors.

The value will depend on the condition (which includes the bag) although the back issue market is not what it once was, due to the internet making it easier for potential customers to find the lowest price (and various forms of reprints making it easier for people to get copies of comics.)
    Sincerely,
    Thomas Mets
