Yeah the ending of Infinity War is really great timing for this to happen.

They should just do like with Pym and Van Dyne, then.
Say that Scott, Logan, Ororo, Jean and the others were active last century
And move on to the new generation with their first movies

I could see it happening maybe something like The Gems get shattered and it leads to a MCU White Event which creates mutants

Since there's stuff being pulled from Jonathan Hickman's run as well as Jim Starlin's Infinity Story. I have a feeling that an avenger (most likely T'Challa) will use the gems to set everything back to normal, but maybe that's just wishful thinking.

Just wanted to note here that Disney already has released R-rate movies under Touchstone. Some of the movies that released under the banner are Pretty Woman which featured Julia Roberts as a hooker and Con Air.

Fan4 suck, Marvel should not go near them. Xmen are great and Fox did a petty ok job on the movies, I hope Fox resist any aggressive take over ! and competition keeps the industry healthy.

God no. Scott and Ororo deserve to be done right after being treated so badly on Fox. And I'm a Jean fan so I just really need her to be on it too.

The amount of storytelling that comes with having rights to the F4 is ridiculous.

    And no.. they don't.

Technically, Pulp Fiction is a "Disney" movie since Miramax was under their umbrella from 1993 until 2010.

"Disney" has released TONS of R-Rated films.
    Pull List:

Marvel Comics: Venom, X-Men, Black Panther, Captain America, Eternals, Warhammer 40000.
    DC Comics: The Last God

It'll be interesting to see who comes over from Fox and what roles they have.

The timing is almost too perfect. I'd almost think they planned for things to line up this perfectly.

Well RIP X-23 movie. By some act of god it was possible for you to get made, but Disney has to recast cash grab and will shove him in to everyting.

It's fox who is looking to sell and the ones that have placed themselves on the market, there is no "hostile" takeover from Disney.

And yes, competition is healthy, but dragging IPs through the mud as fox has been doing for decades is not. Best thing that can happen for all fans is to have the Xmen anf F4 back where they know how to treat them.

I would say that MCU has a much better track record of making movies with more obscure characters than Fox. After the success of the Avengers, MCU could have coasted for awhile, just using the same characters. Instead, they have been very aggressive about not putting all their eggs in one basket. We've gotten Guardians, Dr. Strange, Ant Man, with Black Panther and Captain Marvel in the pipeline. Fox had to be dragged kicking and screaming into making a Deadpool movie.
