If I had to choose from her variations from the classic costume, the All New X-Men uniform was good.

Kitty never had a great costume. Never. She had better ones than this, but she was doomed - from a costume standpoint - since the day she wore that :

Anyway, I hope a good artist will come up with a new suit for Kitty. If they could improve Rachel/pRestige'sone, they can also improve Kitty's look.

Basically Marc Guggenheim, the self-proclaimed greatest expert on Kitty Pryde, doesn't know that A) Kitty's history is full of queer subtext, B) that Kitty broke up with Colossus twice because he was being an *******, C) that she speaks Russian and D) that she hates Jean's ugly old togs.

PRESUMABLY, she'll go back to the Excalibur costume in the annual, but I could see that changing to spite the fans. She's wearing the diaper still in February, even though Rachel's now being consistently shown in her new costume.

Yeah, the Gold suit is an atrocity. It's really strange, that no artists really nailed a great (i mean really great) suit for Kitty.
