Default Question: Paper Girls' comic paper quality & printing method

    Hello everyone,

I'm currently doing an uni project that involves analyzing different products made of paper and I chose to analyse Paper Girls. But I can't find anywhere which exact paper it is made of or its paper weight.
The paper looks glossy to me but I can't tell for sure.

Also, as for printing method, does anyone know which one was used on Paper Girls or which one does Image Comics usually use? I imagine it must be offset printing.

I sent an e-mail to Image Comics asking if they could tell me, but there has been no answer yet (maybe they can't share this information).

    thank you in advance!

You could/should ask Cliff Chiang on twitter about paper type/weight. https://twitter.com/cliffchiang

You could probably email Brian via the letter section, as well. Paper choices are widely varied on Image books as it's up to each creative team, rather than chosen by the publisher.

I guarantee it's offset printing, though.

Thank you for the suggestion! I'll ask Cliff Chiang on twitter.
