Tami, for an example of a powerful image that is made even more so by using limited color to emphasize it

Ajax_X, though there were other covers that also caught my eye, this one stood out.

Since they're new, I'm hesitant to vote for Ajax X, but that cover though.

Fantastic topic and so many great covers, a lot of them were new to me. Thanks!

Going with Rob Allen's Spidey--I can just imagine how that cover would have stood out in the spinner rack.

There's a cover I thought someone might post as having a "limited palette"--I will post it after voting is done.

Kirby101 'cuz the colors on that cover are why we see the heat of the desert. It's amazing how much old school Marvel coloring did for that already excellent cover.

Honorable mention to Ajax-X for the cover I had originally gone with, but my singular joke was just too important to me.

That Spidey cover certainly did stand out. IMO, and it could be my memory is foggy too, the DC covers just didn't have the extra ooomph that the Marvel covers of that era had. Or at least the ones I saw in my cousins house. I think Marvel caused them to raise their game in that area.
