Had he taken this approach with slowly developing the dynamics between the characters in the New 52 series it probably wouldn't have blown up in his face and he wouldn't have gotten so much hate. He just threw Jason, Roy and Kori together, including the team already doing things and Roy and Kori sleeping together randomly which so many fans hated in that first issue, and it really missed the mark with a lot. So it is nice to see how he learned, even if it was by accident from the editors forcing him to change plans suddenly, and his approach to the new team has worked so much better. It is a bit of a shame that the other Outlaws team will probably always overshadow this one because Roy and Starfire are a lot more popular.
