Last issue showed how Yang was rushing to finish his story since he thought the book was getting cancelled, but I'm actually really liking how things are coming together here. The 'dummy' callback is the kind of thing you expect but it still works.

Also, the way he writes Clark and Lex continues to be amazing.

Lex's reaction to Superman here leads me to think this takes place after the latest arc in Superman.

That is how you do a proper finale! I could cite specifics but if you're reading this, you read the issue and know how amazing it was. Just the way Kenan's arc, the themes and the resolution of the plots all came together, it's almost perfect.

Also, the Lanterns are indeed Green. Interesting...

Laney's filler will hopefully be fun next issue and I can't wait for the next storyline...now if DC would just please solicit the third trade.

Brent Peeples was at my comic book store today signing copies of Ne Superman.

He also did $20 head sketches. I got Static and Wally West.

Definitely an interesting way to end the book. Kenan's become a living ki battery essentially and is now a living balancer of Yin and Yang.

I continue to love Dr. Omen and Flying Dragon General's divorced parents interactions with their son. XD

I wonder what'll happen now. He's had a LOT to take in these last few stories/issues.

He died. His dad died. His mom was dead. He came back to life. Dad came back to life. Mom faked her death. And so forth. XD

I wonder if MingMing left the Ministry as well to be with Kenan?

She might be a line of communication who tells Kenan stuff the ministry is up too.

I just caught up with this series. I kind of avoided it for a while because I thought the characters would be too derivative, but Ive grown fond of the JL of China.
I can't wait for the new phase and hope it sticks around.

If the rumours about Bendis taking Action Comics are true, I might consider catching up with this series so I can pick it up. Sounds like Yang's been free to write about what he wants unlike his previous stint on Superman.
