    Exclamation 2017 X-Book Awards voting

Another year has almost come and gone for Marvel’s mightiest mutants, and through there were debuts, deaths and crossovers. Writers and artists both brought their best, and sometimes, their not-so-best to the table, and now it’s your chance to vote for your most and least favorites of 2017!

Perviously this was done by worrstblogever, but last year he gave up on it and gave me his blessing to take it over.

Voting begins today and stays open until the 1st week of January. You can edit/change your votes till the closing date.

Let us not start debating eachothers votes, there are many other threads in which we can debate.

    Voting Rules:
For any category, you can allocate a 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place candidate for any award. 1st place nods are worth 3 votes, 2nd place nods two votes, and 3rd place nods one vote. You will have to nominate 3 per catagory to make your vote count. Totals will be tabulated, and first place votes to be used as a tiebreaker, should there be one (please remember, if you insist on posting images of the covers, rather than just stating the issue number of the cover you’re nominating, that CBR only allows 4 images per post).
When it comes time to vote, just Reply to this post, delete out this opening part, and fill in the ballot below under “Categories”. Or, cut and paste your post into a PM sent to Master of Sound if you want your vote to remain confidential. Thanks for any participation ahead of time!

PS: If you feel the nominees lists are missing candidates, please do send me a PM, or put them in your voting. Do not do that in this thread. I will update nominees if they are submitted in someones votes.

Did you just love the return of the villains of the past, like Juggernaut and Black Tom, or did you like to see the Wrecking Crew finally in an X-title? Breakout Star of the Year
Choose three characters who you feel made the jump from the C or D-List, to the forefront, skirting the edge of, had exciting focus, or development, or possibly joining the ranks of the A-List of Marvel’s Mutants. So A-listers don't break out, they are suppose to be front and center. Did you love the focus on Eyeboy in Generation X or you really liked Lady Deathstrike as a hero in Weapon X, or perhaps you really liked the arrival of Jimmy or Bloodstorm in Blue?

Favorite Mutant on the Regular Cast of a non-X-book
Please note that Uncanny Avengers counts as a half Avengers, half X-men series, so their cast is not valid for this category.

This is not about guest appearances of X-Men in a book, but about mutants being REGULAR cast members of a non X-book. If you have some more nominees, do send a PM, not in the voting thread itself.
