I'm not against a one-off Spider-Man international adventure but it feels more like they're taking Spider-Man out of his comfort zone because we've seen him in his comfort zone in the other Spider-Man movies rather then it being true for MCU Spider-Man.

At least that's my two cents on it.

That's a big of a contrast from the comics where Peter's trips overseas take him to the most obvious European places (London in ASM 99, Paris in ASM 143-144)

It's always kind of amusing to see continuities where Hill and Fury are attached to the hip since the comic versions can hardly stand in the same room with each other

Nope. Really the biggest news lately is that the Iron Man characters who were in Homecoming (bar Iron Man himself) will also be in this movie.

very nice that Fury and Hill return, however it happens.

It's a good guess that Fury will be the adult mentor this time around. That's very good. Fury can't patch up boats split in half, though.
