we’re at once literally traveling back to the early aughts and spiritually to the 1960’s, so it’s a fine line of fedoras and Nickelback posters, of low-rise jeans and double-breasted suits. It’s a fun balancing act of two very different eras, but essentially we’re transplanting classic [Steve] Ditko [art] into the 21st century

It does sound like what the Generations issue did, except with two different versions of Peter and a proper team-up against classic villains like Ock and Gobby (granted, we get enough of them in the main book at this point...).

The covers for this series are so much nicer than the ASM ones. I never thought I'd say it, but I'm tired of Alex Ross covers.

I can actually agree with you on that, at least in the sense that Alex Ross used to be a very special treat that you could only enjoy every once in a while, but it is possible to have too much of a good or even great thing.
The spider is always on the hunt.

Peter's supposed sister. Introduced in the Mark Waid penned graphic novel "Family Buisness" and reintroduced by Chip for Spectacular

With Past Jonah accusing Present Jonah of being ''too soft'' on that ''wall-crawling menace'' LOL.

There's been a new podcast interview with Chip lately. He said, with the exception of the issue where Peter revealed who he was to Jonah, the book is editorially mandated to be quite light and fun, and is to be treated as a "soft reboot" that is in-continuity.

"'Soft reboot' that is in-continuity?" What does that even mean?

It's an in-universe book where you don't have to worry about all the stuff going on in the main book?

Which I've been doing LOL. Though to be fair I've actually been enjoying this book.
