X-Men Legends 3 - create your own roster

Honestly an X-Men game by Bioware styled after Dragon Age or Mass Effect would be really nice, and could be seen as a spiritual successor to this.

You know what game series format would make an excellent X-Men game? Suikoden or Shining Force. That Role Playing feeling with all the X-characters hidden around in their different missions with the X-Mansion as the castle and you could buy/build improvements like the danger room for extra skill gains upon level ups. Then you could have almost all X characters in it.

X-Men Legends 3 is really unlikely but I hope this news means that Disney will at least give Activision the license to remaster it like they did MuA games for current gen. Its a shame that the XML games, especially 1 is locked on the PS2 generation. At least 2 is on PC

I would love a more open world game where each character's powers have multiple uses. For instance, Storm can create fog that shields the team from being seen by enemies or it can reveal security laser beams (like in TAS). The telepaths could read enemies' minds to find security codes to unlock doors, etc. And if you truly make it an open world game, there's no reason Kitty's powers should break the game. She would be able to access high level areas, but would probably quickly die because the enemies would be so strong.

I think it could work as long as you have a feature that allows you to separate from the rest of the team. So then a flying character can really fly up to the top of buildings while the rest of the team stays on the street.
