Yeah, but if you... man, we're getting into weird analogy territory, like if you disintegrated Superman's arms he wouldn't be able to go "fool! Little did you know that my arms and I are one and can be remade from me!" and will his arms back into being from pure nothingness. - Pendaran

Well, it'd actually superficially resemble medical stuff and not like actual acupuncture at all. Granted, part of it is because laziness on my part, but that's why I have the figleaf of HETERODOX to distinguish it from the real and ordinary. So, what I imagined was that Chuan would've started off using Ochazuke's ki to stimulate Ishtar's ki channels. Or rather, to instruct Ochazuke to take Ishtar's pulse and micro-pulse ki in time with her heartbeats. That's to get proper circulation of internal energy. At the same time, he'd try to use his needles to try and reverse the nerve damage that would've come from the extensive charring. Meagan's job would've been to hold the arm in the right position, but that's more important than it seems because Chuan would have both hands occupied with the needling at basically all times.
You know, like one hand focused on holding a needle still to keep the stimulation's effect going while the other's inserting one into a different point and trying to achieve millimeter perfect accuracy for the insertion depth, etc.
That would've been the starting operation, with more sessions to slowly rebuild the rest of the arm afterwards. Hard to say if it would've gone well, but the arm's been dusted so that's fine.
Man that sounds super cool and well-detailed, ET.
I guess we'll just have to wait for the moment Chuan decides to use the technique of the two-handed needle. Maybe he can stick Battersea with it.
EDIT:
Hmm...Charco was in the kitchen the whole time?
Perhaps a time warp is in order. Gotta get that banter.
What's underwear, Jack?
Finally, I have no choice but to admit it.
Held was interested in Jinzi, because it's really hard to find a motherfucker who can build a spaceship on earth, and it's been a fun three years, but my boy's getting kinda homesick and has shit to do.
I also imagine it costs a fuckton of money to just make the shit happen, so yeah.
Admittedly, he could just steal one of the Aliens pods now, but hey. He owes Kami one.

Well, given I'm (not actually) deader than dead circa 7 hours from now, may as well spend the remainder of my time trying to catch up.

Jinzi, you better have the god damn Millenium Falcon ready for Held when this game is over.
