As demonstrated at copious length with Totoma, Ochazuke is concerned not only with what they are fighting, but also why.

Okay, Zaofan's techniques...

Techniques:
Limited wushu levitation: ability to leap, glide, and "gallop" in the air at the same speed as his running speed, not unlike a faster version of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon travel. He cannot maintain height for very long (so it is not levitation) and it is not true flight. Uses virtually no ki.

Optic Blast: A combination technique of the Hokuto Shinken and Neo Crane School philosophies. ability to channel ki into a concentrated force of concussive ruby-colored energy through the eyes. His trademark energy attack, the optic blast is more powerful than traditional eye beams of similar powerlevels, being fast and accurate. Its power can be adjusted, from being as strong as a regular punch to as virtually as potent as a Kamehameha or Dodonpa from an opponent of similar powerlevels, to a single blast as strong as a kikoho. The blast can also be adjusted for a wide area of effect (that wider the area, the more diluted the attack). However, continued or amplified use of the optic blast drains stamina and, after a point of exhaustion, can begin to drain life force as well. Though weaker attacks can bounce off surfaces, it cannot change direction in midair. At present, Zaofan can fire a kikoho-sized blast only once before he is totally drained.

Rakan Geki: Hokuto Shinken technique. A powerful flurry of concentrated hand thrusts, punches, and parries. Weaker than the Hokuto Hyakuretsu Dan.

Hokuto Nijyuretsu Dan: Hokuto Shinken technique. Twenty rapidfire physical attacks, with the final three attacks being particularly devastating while Zaofan is enveloped in a ki aura. Because of the energy required for both speed and maintenance of strength, Zaofan tends to save this as a finishing move.

Rapid Movement/Zanzoken: Bursts of high speed that almost looks like teleportation. The Turtle School variation can also be used to create an afterimage copy for a couple seconds, which is the Zanzoken.

Unlocked Techniques
Hichō Kūzan Pa: From the Hokuto Shinken style. Using levitation and ki-thrust, a powerful flying kick laced with crimson energy for increased concussive impact. Because Zaofan's interpretation incorporates flight plus the original move, this technique spends some ki. It's good for closing distances for h2h combat while using economical amounts of ki.

Ruby Taiyoken: Modified from the Neo Crane school. Now that Zaofan's used his optic blasts more often, and as a lesson from facing giant Dark Chou in battle, Zaofan has refined his optic blast. Rather than emitting concussive force, he can shine a far brighter but almost completely non-offensive flash of ruby light to blind his foes. Because it is not an attack but merely the light from his optic energy, it expends almost no ki.

Ruby Ricochet: Self-taught variation of the Optic Blast. Zaofan's observation skills are slowly starting to incorporate trigonometry to calculate his observation of objects around himself and the angles found between surfaces of these objects. By firing a thinner, less powerful optic blast, Zaofan can ricochet a blast off most surfaces for an accurate bank shot. Useful when it comes to bypassing enemy defenses or to take advantage of the environment.

Before Image: A variation on the Turtle School After Image technique, Zaofan can "launch" an image of himself between him and a target. Anticipating that the target would react to the image, leaving themselves open to attack.

Scarlet X: By channeling his concussive ki into his katchin bo staff Bojack, Zaofan can launch two dense, red energy blades in the shape of an X. These blades are made of concentrated concussive ki, capable of cutting through a variety of materials and exploding. This move is usually a finisher and is capable of immense direct damage or devastating area explosions. Requires the bo staff to perform this move.

Though, because of automatic flight, his first technique of wushu-style levitation is now redundant and weak, so I had been thinking of trimming his original skill set to four but adding in another technique to the more advanced category:

Optic Bomb : A technique using the power of the Optic Blast and inspiration from the Turtle School philosophy. The ability to launch a concentrated blast of concussive energy that falls back down to the Earth -- essentially lobbing the ball of power -- after some distance. On impact, it explodes violently with pure concussive force in all directions. Useful for bypassing walls and cliffs.

Midori Techniques:

Gudodama (Truth-Seeking Balls): Inspired by Asha'rah's Smiting Orbs, Midori generates six hard-sized orbs of ki that float around her in an orbit. With a motion of her finger, she can send them hurtling toward her opponent, controlling them as they fly, allowing her to make them home in on the target and chase them. However, this requires her attention, so if she loses focus she loses control of them.

Karamiti Burasutā (Calamity Blaster): Midori charges an energy sphere with both hands behind her neck. Then, she swings her hands over her head and aims them toward her opponent as she fires a large, short-ranged white and purple energy wave, inflicting a high amount of damage on anyone in range of the attack.


Shiro Techniques:

Uchū no Harō (Cosmic Halo): Shiro executes this attack by raising her index finger into the air and circling it above her head to create a yellow ring of energy, whose appearance is very similar to the Destructo Disc. Once created, she transports the circular energy ring over her opponent, then lowers and closes it around them. This results in the opponent being gripped and trapped within the circular attack.

Shiroi Yari (White Spear): Shiro creates several long 'spears' of ki, one in hand and several floating in the air around her. Throwing the one in her hand, the others follow it. However, unlike most ki-based attacks, these spears pierce and impale the target.

• Rainbow Discs: Shapes her rainbow Ki into a dozen or more 2-inch or larger diameter spinning discs that she launches and controls at will. A form of Ki Shuriken.
• Rainbow Kienzan [Locked]: Her take on Krillian's signature technique. Instead of many smaller discs, she creates one, really large and very destructive disc that is quite beautiful to look at, as long as you are not the target.
• Rainbow Reflection: A modification of her discs which turns them into a defense, not only blocking attacks but also deflecting or reflecting Ki and other Energy attacks back to their source or to any other target she chooses.
• Prism Laser [Locked]: Ability to emit a fine, laser of Ki energy from one or more of her fingers. It can cut through almost anything, depending on her power levels.
• Power Combo Alpha: Basic Martial Arts that combines many different styles. Effective as it is both unpredictable and unusual.
• Power Combo Beta: AKA Teal Blade - A martial Arts attack using her cloak as a weapon whose edges can be as sharp as any blade when used in combo with her ki.
• Power Combo Delta: A stealth attack using invisibility and the Ninjutsu skills she learned from her Mentor.
• Amplification: From observing others, she has learned to increase the sensitivity of her strongest sense, her hearing. The more Ki she uses, the greater the increase in the power of her hearing.
• Blessing of Light: The user must be in contact with the recipient. The recipient must be either dying, on death's door, or just passed into death within the last minute for the technique to work. The Blessing of Light forms a bond between the user and recipient that uses the life force of the user to stabilize the wounded/dead/near dead. However, this technique is draining the longer the bond exists. Only those with superb ki control can even perform it. Beyond that, the longer the bond, the faster it drains the user, putting them at risk of death.
  The technique cannot "heal" a person. All it does is keep them from going that last step/pulls them back from that last step into death. It's use is only for emergencies when a healer is not readily available, nor a regen tank, and you have to act fast.
• Reaching for the Light: A Ki booster to her speed - reflexive movement, running and flying. The more Ki she can channel, the faster she can go. It also creates a natural Aura Barrier around her to protect her body from any harmful effects of moving at high speed. Used too often without rest, it can cause physical injury.
• Cytokinesis: Creates multiple physical Ki clones of herself, each one acting independently, but in connection with Meagan. Doing this diminishes her ability to use Ki attacks slightly, though it doesn't affect flying, invisibility or controlling her cloak (which doesn't replicate). Currently she can only make 2 clones, but as she gets' stronger, as her Ki and power levels increase, she will gradually be able to make more than that.

I was going to give Sarada a power after her training the the Double Mint Oni Twins, but I may have to switch gears and give her something else. Her range game is still pretty weak outside of the Galick Gun.

Reading this and on second thought, I'll hold off on giving Zaofan the Optic Bomb until he reaches a higher level. For all his range attacks, none of them really include the ability to control them in mid-flight, so that's probably more advanced than Zaofan's level at this point.

Cause Etrina/Erosa are two sides to the same coin, the same person. While Midori and Shiro are two completely separate characters.

At least that is how it started. How you want to it to evolve is up to you.

Zaofan's unintentionally flirting with Etrina, but is wary about Erosa. This calls for a meme:

"If Zaofan can't handle Erosa at her worst, then he doesn't deserve Etrina at her best."
