The only thing Totoma needs to be saved from is himself. Not surprised that Lady Kami was once like the rest of them, at least her telling him that made an impression. Perhaps Totoma just needs something to fight for? I figure everyone in this group has something to fight for.

...honestly, what he legit needs is at least a half-year, preferably a year of time to self-reflect and sort himself out.

The amount of power Totoma can access from his prime is pretty much dependent on his mental state. Anger/rage allows for a temporary access, but his overall stability determines how much he can access under normal circumstances.

Given that he vastly underestimated/limited himself back then and got an absurd zenkai from the Jagam fight, there's a good chance that a (more) mentally stable Totoma would be able to... not die instantly, at least.

He'd catch up pretty quickly, cuz halfbreed gains n' ****.
