If I hadn't gone through with that, he would've developed... almost an inverse of the Aesthma technique from Ishtar's tutelage.
So, instead of being fueled by rage, it would have been fueled by feelings of peace and tranquility? That'd actually be an interesting ability.

Yea but Totoma went and had mind surgery before Ishtar could start training him. SO NOW I GOTTA THINK OF SOMETHING ELSE TO DO.

Yeah, but if you... man, we're getting into weird analogy territory, like if you disintegrated Superman's arms he wouldn't be able to go "fool! Little did you know that my arms and I are one and can be remade from me!" and will his arms back into being from pure nothingness. - Pendaran

It... would've taken a while to develop, honestly.

Totoma was perfectly capable of experiencing those sorts of feelings, but... it was only with Karine and once he was away from her, they would be consumed by that dark void pretty quickly.

The trick would've been figuring out a way to bolster those feelings for longer and longer periods of time. Eventually, once those positive feelings had been bolstered permanently, they would've begun 'expanding' until they'd filled that void. Mostly, anyway.

She'll teach him how to overcome his Saiyan appetite. And then he'll do what he does best and improve it so he can subsist on natural ki flows alone. And/or accidentally turn himself into an energy vampire.

He'll probably turn himself into an energy vampire.

Haurvatat goes hand in hand with Ameretat, after all ... and that basically turns you into a Vampire Vegetarian.

Sounds like an issue of rationality tempered through confronting the reality of things as they seem against a view of what they truly are.

Like some sort of Meditation, as often done during Battle, if you will.

    Ah, the road not taken.

I'd consider it an inwardly-focused variation of Ochazuke's battle meditation... if that makes any sense.

I just realized, in the Charco vs. Chou vs. Zaofan battle, Charco and Chou doubled their power levels, putting them each past Battersea (at 300) and the Raiders. I also tried to depict Zaofan as worse for wear post-battle since he doesn't have the ability to increase his level (so if Charco continued that Tyranno Blast, thanks to his Thyreophora technique, Zaofan would have lost the beam war eventully, and he could have been vaporized).

Speaking of the Tyranno Blast, there's now a large hole in the Lookout. It's a good thing they're too high up to get rain.

If my Maths is right, this should bring Koorimaru's stock of techniques to 9/9

    Improvable Techniques

    Five Forms Tail

Developed by a Frost Demon in order to make use of one of their most idiosyncratic attributes, the Five Forms Tail is, as the name suggests, split into Five Disciplines, each named and patterned after the movements of a beast - Tiger, Crane, Leopard, Snake and Dragon.

Each of the five disciplines involve the learning of two techniques to require mastery. Notoriously difficult, many practitioners must completely forego the use of ki-based techniques in order to adequately use these abilities. Only true masters of the form can use any of these techniques while retaining the use of their ki-based abilities.

Gameplay Notes: Koorimaru will have to forego the use of ki-based techniques that directly result in the manifestation of energy to use any of the following techniques. The number of posts required before Koorimaru can use the following techniques is based on the level of mastery he has attained with them. Currently, the only ki techniques Koorimaru can use while using the proceeding techniques are:

    Flight, Doomsday Sloth

    Snake Style
Famed for its quickness and perceptivity, the Snake Style practitioner's approach is to detect the weaknesses of his enemies and strike at them with extreme accuracy.

The Fangs of the Great Serpent (大蛇の毒歯): Those who practice the Snake Style might not strike hard, but they strike fast and true, especially when their foes provide them an opening. When a Snake Style practitioner has set his eyes on his prey, he becomes aware of every physiological minutiae in relation to his enemy. While keeping himself centred on a single point in the opposing force's being, he allows himself to become in tune with the whole.... and at the precise moment the foe opens the Snake Style's practitioner target to attack, the practitioner's tail will strike at speeds far eclipsing what their level of power would normally allow them to achieve.

Level 1: Requires 4 posts of non-Ki projecting abilities to use. Koorimaru can pick an isolated target on an enemy to strike. The moment the enemy engages in any movement that allows the target to be open to attack, Koorimaru's tail will strike at speeds typical of those equal to 1.5 times that of his current Power Level. This technique needs to be used successfully 5 times to upgrade to Level 2.

Level 2: Requires 3 posts of non-Ki projecting abilities to use. Koorimaru can pick an isolated target on an enemy to strike. The moment the enemy engages in any movement that allows the target to be open to attack, Koorimaru's tail will strike at speeds typical of those equal to 2.0 times that of his current Power Level. This technique needs to be used successfully 10 times to upgrade to Level 3.

Level 3: Requires 2 posts of non-Ki projecting abilities to use. Koorimaru can pick an isolated target on an enemy to strike. The moment the enemy engages in any movement that allows the target to be open to attack, Koorimaru's tail will strike at speeds typical of those equal to 2.5 times that of his current Power Level. This technique needs to be used successfully 15 times to upgrade to Level 4. [Koorimaru's Current Level]

Level 4: Requires 1 posts of non-Ki projecting abilities to use. Koorimaru can pick 2 isolated targets on an enemy to strike. The moment the enemy engages in any movement that allows the targets to be open to attack, Koorimaru's tail will strike twice at speeds typical of those equal to 2.5 times that of his current Power Level. This technique needs to be used successfully 20 times to upgrade to Level 5.

Level 5: Can be used at any time. Koorimaru can pick 3 isolated targets on an enemy to strike. The moment the enemy engages in any movement that allows the targets to be open to attack, Koorimaru's tail will strike thrice at speeds typical of those equal to 2.5 times that of his current Power Level.

The Revelation of Vulnerability (臨界の覚醒): To strike with certainty is one thing. To strike with certainty at the most optimum point is quite another. The sensory abilities of the Snake Style practitioner might allow them to perceive the world in stark detail, but as the technique's originator developed his craft, he honed this technique to focus on one purpose and one purpose alone. To uncover the vulnerabilities of not just his foes, but of the world in which they live. And as the most dedicated of practitioners will find, those who set their minds to mastering this power can seek not only the critical vulnerabilities of that within their present space, but across time as well.

Level 1: Requires 4 posts of non-Ki projecting abilities to use. Koorimaru can maintain an awareness of all points of vulnerability within his line of sight for one post. He needs to strike 5 such points of vulnerability to upgrade to Level 2.

Level 2: Requires 3 posts of non-Ki projecting abilities to use. Koorimaru can maintain an awareness of all points of vulnerability within his line of sight for three posts. He needs to strike 10 such points of vulnerability to upgrade to Level 3. [Koorimaru's Current Level]

Level 3: Requires 2 posts of non-Ki projecting abilities to use. Koorimaru can indefinitely maintain an awareness of all points of vulnerability within his line of sight. He needs to strike 15 such points of vulnerability to upgrade to Level 4.

Level 4: Requires 1 posts of non-Ki projecting abilities to use. Koorimaru can indefinitely maintain an awareness of all points of vulnerability within his line of sight. Additionally, he can predict the current trajectory of events up to a maximum of 2 seconds, and become aware of all future vulnerabilities that will appear within those 2 seconds. The cooldown for this technique is 3 posts. He needs to strike 20 such points of vulnerability to upgrade to Level 5.

Level 5: Can be used at any time. Koorimaru can indefinitely maintain an awareness of all points of vulnerability within his line of sight. Additionally, he can predict the current trajectory of events up to a maximum of 5 seconds, and become aware of all future vulnerabilities that will appear within those 5 seconds. The cooldown for this technique is 1 post.

    Dragon Style
Famed for its destructive potential and psychological effectivity, the Dragon Style practitioner's approach is to make use of a single strike to utterly decimate its enemies.

The Extremity of Two Layers (二重の極み): The Dragon's power comes not from overwhelming its enemies with a flurry of decimation, but by disarming the enemy with its imperial presence before cleaving its foes in twain with a single mighty blow. By striking the enemy with a tiny segment of their tail, and then immediately following after with a second strike from the tip, the Extremity of Two Layers temporarily negates an enemy's defences to cause tremendous damage.

Level 1: Requires 4 posts of non-Ki projecting abilities to use. Koorimaru's attack will deal damage as if the enemy's defences were at 0.75 effectiveness. This technique needs to be used successfully 5 times to upgrade to Level 2. [Koorimaru's Current Level]

Level 2: Requires 3 posts of non-Ki projecting abilities to use. Koorimaru's attack will deal damage as if the enemy's defences were at 0.5 effectiveness. This technique needs to be used successfully 10 times to upgrade to Level 3.

Level 3: Requires 2 posts of non-Ki projecting abilities to use. Koorimaru's attack will deal damage as if the enemy's defences were at 0.25 effectiveness. This technique needs to be used successfully 15 times to upgrade to Level 4.

Level 4: Requires 1 posts of non-Ki projecting abilities to use. Koorimaru's attack will deal damage as if the enemy's defences were at 0.25 effectiveness. Furthermore, the attack will produce a shockwave that effects everything within a 1 meter radius. This technique needs to be used successfully 20 times to upgrade to Level 5.

Level 5: Can be used at any time. Koorimaru's attack will deal damage as if the enemy's defences were at 0.25 effectiveness. Furthermore, the attack will produce a shockwave that effects the entirety of the target's physical structure.

The Advent of the Divine Dragon (神龍の降臨): The Dragon is the most elusive of the mightiest beasts. Its presence is akin to that of legend and those witnessing it for the first time are struck by its majesty. A majesty that costs them not only seconds... but all the time they have left on this world. By cracking through the air with tremendous force, the Dragon Style practitioner creates a soundwave that activates a primal fear in its enemies, leaving them open for any future attacks he wishes to employ.

Level 1: Requires 4 posts of non-Ki projecting abilities to use. Koorimaru's attack will stun the enemy for 3 seconds. This technique needs to be used successfully 5 times to upgrade to Level 2. [Koorimaru's Current Level]

Level 2: Requires 3 posts of non-Ki projecting abilities to use. Koorimaru's attack will stun the enemy for 4 seconds. This technique needs to be used successfully 10 times to upgrade to Level 3.

Level 3: Requires 2 posts of non-Ki projecting abilities to use. Koorimaru's attack will stun the enemy for 5 seconds. This technique needs to be used successfully 15 times to upgrade to Level 4.

Level 4: Requires 1 posts of non-Ki projecting abilities to use. Koorimaru's attack will stun the enemy for 5 seconds. The enemy's senses will be disabled for 3 seconds and progressively return to full efficacy following the 3 second time limit. This technique needs to be used successfully 20 times to upgrade to Level 5.

Level 5: Can be used at any time. Koorimaru's attack will stun the enemy for 5 seconds. The enemy's senses will be disabled for 5 seconds and progressively return to full efficacy following the 5 second time limit. Furthermore, the attack will produce a shockwave that effects the entirety of the target's physical structure.

Anaxam, the Flames of Indignation: Through the flames of wrath, a Saiyan's pride burns bright! At the pinnacle of rage, her power blossoms forth! After taking lessons from Ishtar and Nunlil, Sarada has begun development of her own power boosting technique. Anaxam, the Vocadan word for rage, is the first of three stages through which Sarada will increase her power. This first stage increases her speed and strength by 50% at the cost of 50% durability. It lasts for five posts, after which she either deactivates it or initiates the second stage. With this power-up, Sarada becomes much more aggressive and merciless in battle.
    • Sungam, the Quiet Fury: The Saiyan's wrath burns with quiet, but furious embers! The second stage of Sarada's wrath, Sungam increases Sarada's speed and strenght by an additional 20%, on top of her already increased stats. She is unable, however, to use any ki attacks, as she will be busy channeling her ki for one final strike. This stage lasts for five turns, at which point, the final stage will automatically begin.
    • Alyakim, the Saiyan Roar: With a mighty roar, the Saiyan destroys all in her path! The final stage of Sarada's burning anger, Alyakim is one decisive strike against her opponent. She dumps every ounce of ki into this attack, resulting in her power level being tripled for the duration of the attack. After attacking, Sarada's energy is completely exhausted.
      • A Saiyan's Pride will not be activated after Alyakim
      • Sarada gains a double voice during Alyakim; her normal voice, plus the deeper timbers of an Oozaru.

I think Meagan is going to end up with her own variation of Nunlil's Blast Grenade. And I think Meagan owes Nunlil a favor of equal value.

None of Meagan's techniques are as detailed as this or Kamen's. Don't have the time or energy to do it.
