Olive Loaf is the food of the Gods. If a sandwich is ever named after me, it will contain olive loaf, pepperjack cheese, onions, and brown mustard.

I will also add anchovies and Moxie. Although maybe not all at once.

I'm one of the few in my family that likes brussel sprouts. I get a craving for White Castle Hamburgers sometimes but not with brussel sprouts.

    EVERYTHING MENTIONED HERE!! I grew up on this stuff. I would also add;

Deli Souse Meat (If not my dad's homemade Souse) great with crackers and aforementioned pepper-jack cheese. And as a sandwich!

Peanut butter and jelly/jam on toast with bananas...OMG!! i use to make them for my little brother.

    Chitlins

Okra, good fried but great in tomato based stews and soups.

    Pickled Pig's feet

    Scrambled Eggs and avocado's

    Sardines in hot sauce

    Crawfish

    Frog Legs

Most people I know don't like mushrooms.

Asian, European, American, raw, cooked, canned -- I don't care. I eat all the mushrooms.

The way you phrased that made me laugh, Madam.

I like most most fruits and veggies. Most people don't-- they usually only like 1 or 2. I only dislike 1 or 2.

I love calamari, and I can't get anyone I know to try it and discover how delicious it is for themselves.

Spinach is good too. I hated it as a kid (i'll never forgive you for making me try it, Popeye) but now I really like spinach pie or a pepperoni and spinach calzone.

I like practically everything, so there are lots of things I can list: liver and onions, any vegetable, anchovies, all seafood, tofu, Limburger cheese...

If it's cooked right, it's awesome.

Yeah, I wasn't crazy about it as a very little kid myself, but Popeye (goshk!) did indeed make me a fan of it. I love it any variety, but creamed spinach is my favorite.

To paraphrase Will Rogers: I never met a mushroom I didn't like.

When I went to elementary school, olive loaf was one of the deli meats I used to eat and love (salami, chicken loaf, bologna, and ham were others ). I hardly ever eat deli meats any more, unless it's a special occasion.

I can't really think of any that I dislike myself. I hated tomatoes as a kid (tomato sauce, OTOH...), but love them now. Egg plant was another I despised, yet I can't get enough of it today. The moral of this story? Just because you don't like something now doesn't mean you will still in the future.
