What should be retconned out of the X-Universe?

Is there anything in the X-Universe that should be removed and forgotten?

For me it should be;

The time-displaced 05
X-23 and any other Wolverine derivative

I don’t think anything should be retconned out, as that is a terrible way to deal with poor editorial decisions. The 05 should be sent home as their adult counterparts are returning. As for X-23, I couldn’t disagree more she is one of the only reasons I got back into comics.

If I absolutely had to retcon something I would go for the character assassinations of beast cyclops and professor Xavier.

Cyclops is Hitler, terrigen cloud, DoX, IvX and all that nonsense. There are bad storylines, and then there are storylines that are just beyond stupid. That whole thing is just stupid stuff after stupid stuff, it makes no sense, no one looks good. It should be retconned out of existence.

-Moira MacTaggert’s death
-Madrox’s death

-Changeling’s death (call me crazy, but I’d love to see 616 Kevin Sydney return as Morph)
-X-23 growing up and becoming the new Wolverine with a little sister- Leave her young with codename X-23.
-Chuck Austen’s weird mythology about Nightcrawler and Angel
-Deadpool becoming wacky with bathroom humor tier jokes
-Scott cheating on Jean with Emma and Jean cheating on Scott with Logan
-Storm and T’Challa’s random annulment
-Wolverine killing his illegitimate kids
-Hellfire beats being a thing
-Sabretooth and Havok inverting and Havok getting his face messed up

It was one of the high points of IvX even if Emma should never have been the one to do it. Really does Magneto need to be mind controlled to kill threats to mutant kind? Stupid, stupid writing.

Also left wanting Legion to return off of my list because he appears to be returning in the new year. Same with Rogue and Gambit’s relationship. Hopefully.

I'mma sucker for legacy characters, but aside from that I agree with almost every thing.
