I love how Marvel's idea of spicing up another Spider-Man vs. Green Goblin fight is to create another new Goblin, this time one with Mephisto imagery .

I thought it looked more Carnage than Mephisto personally.

Well, Carnage is kind of demonic-looking to begin with, but I definitely feel like this is evoking "the devil," which Mephisto is.

Hope Not. I'd rather see Ock come back separately than Normal- Maybe in the Zodiac arc before, to let the Goblin remain the sole focus of this final arc.

I just can't believe Slott would end his run without Ock doing something or completely taking over the narrative .

Yeah. Agreed on that, hence I'd rather keep him out of Goblin's story and stick him in the Zodiac arc- Letting us get a conclusion to Otto and we get a Goblin finale.

In all seriousness I hope something clever is done with this goblin and not like all the other spin-offs. And for that matter, I hope it isn't just Norman with magic.

In an alternate universe Mephisto ended Norman’s marriage to Gwen Stacy whom he married after saving her when that dastardly spider-man threw her off a bridge. Now traversing the multiverse, the Red Goblin is looking for other “deal” makers with Mephisto.

Or perhaps not.....
