Congratulations to ChadH for a cover which is representative of a series which carried on a previous series and maintained the original craziness of the original character. It's Shade; that's what they (I really need a more useful pronoun here) do.
As to what I've learned this week, the captain is going to admit he's know this all along. Every week brings forth single pictures created to spark our imaginations and desires. One picture to sell a magazine of 32 or more pages and to give us an idea of the wonders inside. Or I could go "the colorsss, the colorssss..." but that doesn't translate well into text. We've discovered over the last few weeks, that use of color, whether understated or exaggerated, is of primary (pun intended) importance to the creation of the cover.
