Need help identifying some classic characters

Hello all,

Doing a big puzzle with a picture of a collection of classic DC characters. I can identify most of them, but ten I am not familiar with (or familiar with, but don't know their name).

Could you all assist in identifying the numbered pictures in this link?:

Number 4 is Zatanna, 5 is Starfire, 6 is Desaad (I think), 9 is Raven, and 10 is Dr. Sivana (with Mr. Mind perched on his shoulder).

I think 3 might be Merlyn? Not sure though.

Hard to imagine in what universe these characters could all co-exist. Besides pre-Crisis, General Zod and Faora looked like that in the Pocket Universe. But could all these other characters have been in a pocket universe? Maybe only in the puzzle universe.

Still can't see how 3 is Quex-Ul. I guess it's not Prince Evillo (doesn't have the pointy ears). Could be Dr. Xa-Du, since he's with the other Phantom Zoners.

Interesting the models seem to be the 80s Super Powers designs but they felt a need to put Harley Quinn in there. And I like the hints of Samurai, Orion, and Cyclotron at the top.

I was going to say the same thing about how odd it is to see Harley in the middle of this old-school looking lineup.

I believe, with the exception of Harley, all the individual images are pulled from the Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez DC Style Guide, which also included the Super Powers characters. The full book can be viewed on his Facebook page (or through a Google search).

And it looks like his name is Kru-El.

It shouldn't have to take this much searching to get a straight answer. But after doing a lot of reverse searches on that image, this site says the guy on the left is Kru-El: "Vilões DC no Pré-Crise: Kru-El, General Zod, Faora Hu-Ul, Cheetah, Dr. Silvana, Sr. Mxyzptlk, Pinguim, Sr. Cérebro, Coringa, Lex Luthor, Brainiac, Mulher-Gato, Charada." Take that with um grão de sal.

Edit: Obviously, I did all that searching before Lee did his own edit. It's a Beebo miracle.
