    spoilers:
Yeah I don't buy it, it's Mysterio we're talking about, the master of illusions and deceptions, so I wouldn't be surprised if he's lying about being from another universe. My guess is he's working with the elemental creatures or those things are just illusions he created to fool everyone for whatever reason.
    end of spoilers

Anyways that's a nice trailer, I hope the movie will give us a nice ending to the phase 3.

    It might be half-true.

    spoilers:
He might be lying about being from another universe but reality being messed up and opening inter-dimensional rips is true and he is just taking advantage of the situation. Because this is what is mentioned in Endgame by the Ancient One about what would happen if the stones were absent and Thanos destroyed them. Not to mention doubt Fury would be fooled that easily.
    end of spoilers

That's true, it could also pave the way for Kang arrival in the MCU.

    spoilers:
You can't say "MULTIVERSE" in Great Britain without me looking for Brians. Especially this close to Director Carter's dialog in Endgame.

You don’t have to use spoiler tags for a Spider-Man trailer.

Not a fan of the X-Men being from an alternate reality. It takes away from their concept.

This trailer didnt introduce any new information. People have been speculating this since Dr. Strange introduced the concept

Many would disagree. Hell, the trailer starts with Holland telling the audience that if you haven't seen Endgame, don't watch this.

Though, given the nature of the deal with Sony, dealing with multiverses in the MCU Spider-Man would another bridge toward the Spider-verse.

I just remember that there was an actual comic storyline like it a few years back.

Don't know how I feel about it considering the characters.
"This is starting to sound like a bad comic book plot"
    -Spider-man

“Evil is evil...lesser, greater, middling, it's all the same."
    -Geralt of Rivia

Well, kind of hard to read spoiler-text on mobile, and also a bit annoying elsewhere.

The alt reality idea does give us three easy solutions for potential plots:

    - X-Men being from their own world allows the prejudice metaphor to stay intact from the MCU established love for the Avengers.
    - You can start developing a full alt reality for a potential Secret Wars/incursion set up.
    - A better reason to have AvX on the big screen.

But I buy nothing that was said on that trailer so problaby none of this is set to happen.
