Default What's your favorite bad comic?

It seems in the wake of the reboot, we are left with mostly "appreciation" threads. It got me thinking of some old books, and some of them were not long lasting or very well remembered. In the late 70s and early 80s, I loved a lot of short lived books like Blue Devil (I loved Paris Cullen's art), but this book died after a few years. It was such a light, fun read though, I have always loved the character since (and he was never as good until really the Shadowpact series.

Does anybody else have any short lived, little loved faves?

Anything Didio writes. OMAC was great, His Outsiders was surprisingly fun.

... that doesn't sound like "bad", that sounds like "underappreciated/unknown/underrated gems" if anything.

Call it what you want, enough thought it "bad" at the time to not buy it. I loved it.

This. Except as I redefined my opening point, enough readers thought it "bad" that they didn't buy it. But I loved OMAC.

OMAC was fantastic. I can't wait for Infinity Man.

    Some short-lived series I loved:

The Secret Six: Not the recent Gail Simone series (which was also excellent) but the original spy book.
Vext: A little-known Giffen series with art by Mike McKone
Reign of the Zodiac: Another Giffen gem, this time with Colleen Doran
Captain Carrot and his Amazing Zoo Crew

Ha, holy shit... I was thinking to list 2 books in my opening post, and Captain Carrot was the 2nd book I was going to say. I LOVED that book, so fun and weird!

Secret Six was fantastic, all minis and ongoing. Loved it it so much, can't wait to see Catman in New 52.

I thought it was a totally decent/moderately fun superhero book.

    Scott Lobdell comics.

Also, been thinking about ordering the upcoming Zoo Crew Showcase volume. Worth it?

I'd say yes. It's entertaining, fun and truly bizarre at times, but I've always loved the series. The Showcase looks to have all of the best CC appearances.

I have to say definitely Mr Terrific

It is just mediocre on its writting that it becomes a parody of itself
I really hated the first issues but after re-reaing them I kind of find it really funny
the whole idea of Mr Terrific´s wife dieing because of a GPS or invisible terrorists that are trying to protect a bomb on a ship or Mr Terrific frozing himself to survive after leaving a villain to be burned to death.
It is just hilarious if you dont take it seriously and the book pretty much begs you to take it seriously which is what makes it so bad.

Mr Terrific was heavily incompetent but Static was jut plain unreadable, I couldnt understand what the hell happen on that plot.
