Thank god Bunn gave us the EmmaSean we deserve.

Indeed, they were the best mutant couple and one of the best couple of the 90's.

Chamber and Synch and M should have easily taken out Jeen. Points again to Bunn for remembering the early psionic bio-nuclear furnace that Chamber's chamber was supposed to be. I was hoping to see Jeen use her new power to drain Jono and use him as a battery to power her blasting the others into submission.
If Bunn has any control over these things, I know he'll use the O5's time travel fun to correct mistakes like Synch and Skin's pointless deaths.
Emma/Sean was honestly the highlight of this issue for me.
It's a Bunn X-book. Of course Magneto is the key.
I wish Bun could write a dr Doom/Magneto crossover.

Sean emma? What a freaking turn off

She and Scott had one of the best relationships in comics
They are such a perfect couple because they bring out the best in each other. Emma's the pessimist that challenges Scott's morals. Scott is the optimist that gives Emma hope.
    Rant
Jean really is the worst character in Marvel, isn't she?
    Scemma forever Triangle never.
Scott needs an alpha female like Bettsy.
What woman wouldn't be attracted to Scott? He's 100% alpha male who tells the Avengers to go f*#& themselves.
I want cyclops back free from any ginger women to be his own man.
    Logically..
TeenClops should have lusted for Emma & Cuckoos. Especially Stepford Cuckoos! They're teenage triplet clones of his hottest ex, how could he not be?
    End of rant

Can Bunn just takeover Generation X (with the originals in the front seat) please?

Amazing issue. The worst thing about the arc is that its moving so fast that we dont get much from the backdrop of the time they hop to

Conversely, I think that Emma and Scott brought out some of the best AND worst in each other. Emma is directly responsible for making Scott a terrorist and vice versa.

I loved this issue so much. I would've killed for one extra issue in the Gen X time period. This story's moving so fast but it kind of feels intentional. The frenetic pace is mimicking the 05+2's sudden shifts and race to save time.

I'm pretty sure their relationship is in the same situation of Sam and Misty. Aaron wants Sam with Jane and Barnes wants him with Misty, so they ignore each other. In this case, Bunn and Taylor are the ones ignoring what the other writes.

Maybe we'll see her again. His Blue team is getting new members. He didn't disclose who. But with GenX ending, Monet is free I would think. With the GenX cancellation, I am guessing Strain knew about it in advance -enough time to decently wrap up her story. Least I would think writers who get books cancelled know early enough to have time to adjust and wrap up as best they can.

Bunn also mentioned a lot of the threads he started in UXM, he did plan to address. Monet may be one of them. Of course Magneto. lol Give him Creed back too, and I'd be ecstatic.

So the O5 that replaced the time-displaced ones turned out evil? This is giving me BotA flashbacks. It's time for these kids to go.

That’s exactly what I thought too but probably even Marvel doesn’t remember them.

Funny that evil "Cyclops" was using his 616 Phoenix Five costume, not even the Dark Phoenix one, but the regular one.
