I like both Northstar and Aurora, though I do view Aurora as a supporting character than a main one. I wish they would've gotten different powers. I think JM would maybe get more love if she did.

Yes! I think Aurora would have gotten more love if the twins had kept their differentiated powers - light, healing, and the occasional nuke would give Aurora more to do than be the designated bitch/damsel in distress.

Well I think her mental illness played a larger role than her powers being similar. From the beginning their power had some differences like she had greater endurance while Northstar had greater speed, then she experimented with her powers and they started to get different.
