Easy. The best written Harley Quinn is Batman: Mad Love.

Something that does not have the Joker in it.

I never get the love for Mad Love.

It was an okay kids' story, but nothing special for me.

Cool. I'll look it up on Comixology. Thanks.

On-top of "Mad Love" I would also throw in "Harley's Holiday" and "Harlequinade" .

    ^^^ This.

Harley is at her best in BTAS and related comics. One of the better character arcs of that entire series.

I did enjoy her transition into the comicsverse during "No Man's Land" though and the hand Poison Ivy had in developing her powers, IIRC.

Mad Love. Chiefly for her, but doubles as a great Joker and (even if he isn't in as much) Batman story as well.

Harley doesn't have so many serious stories really. Mad Love was good but I never liked so much this from sombody who thinks the killing joke wasn't a big deal (though I liked the end). Her old comic (2000-2004) had some good issues and a creepy story in Batman Black and White called Study Case by Dini was good too. I always enjoyed her issues in Gotham Adventures. Her role in the games Arkham City/Asylum was her best I think so I recommend them.

I liked these comics with Harley as an important character: Batman - Arkham City (Dini), Batman - The Dark Prince Charming, Batman Madmen and Lovers (batman confidential 7-12), Batman - White Knight and Batman #663 that was this strange thing Morrison wrote for some reason.

I’ve read most of Harley’s books and unlike a lot of the posters on this forum, I actually read the books for Harley, mad love is not a great Harley story, a far better book for Harley was Gotham City Sirens. If you enjoy nu52 Harley her best stories actually occur in Suicide Squad the issues after Jokers death are really interesting. As for Batwoman I think the last time they met was in that awful Batgirl and the birds of prey event.
