    Default Thor series

I hear good things about Marvels Thor series. When I look at the covers they show a female character. Is there a recommended starting point to understand what's going on?

If it is possible, I'd go back to and read all of Jason Aaron's run on the Thor titles.

Here is where it began - http://marvel.com/comics/issue/44198...thunder_2012_1

The Thor, God of Thunder title went for 25 issues, then it relaunched as just Thor, which introduced the female Thor. There were 8 issues of that comic before it ended and relaunched once again as The Mighty Thor, with once again a new #1 issue. That is the series that is still going today. All three of those series constitute a single run of Thor comics all written by Jason Aaron, covering the last 5 years.

    Thank you for this.
