Green Arrow #1-15 (Smith/ Hester): It's probably one of the best resurrection stories in comics, exploring what it would mean for a hero to come back from the dead, and establishing an archer as belonging to a universe with demons and supermen. The next storyline introduces Onomatopoeia, a nasty and memorable supervillain.

Edge of Venomverse #1-5, War Stories: These are generally okay but forgettable what ifs with symbiotes.

Preacher #25-33/ Cassidy: Blood and Whiskey At this point, Ennis and Dillon go deep into Cassidy's character with an origin and revelations about deep flaws that complicate and deepen the central story.

Flash Volume 2 #0, 86-100, Special #1, Annuals #4-6: Waid's run has some solid superhero stories, and the introduction of a character with significant staying power in Impulse, while continuing Wally's saga of establishing his own identity.

Total So Far: 934 Issues, Six from the Golden Age, 10 from the 1950s, 35 from the 1960s, 100 from the 1970s complete (largely thanks to Marvel's kindle sales covering a lot of 70s Masterworks collections), 43 from the 1980s, 100 from the 1990s complete, 100 from the 2000s complete, 100 from the 2010s complete

Best of the batch: The origin of Cassidy from Preacher #25-26 has a nice take on immortality, the Irish conflicts and the changing New York City
    Sincerely,
    Thomas Mets

How was Master of Kung Fu?
    It was great.
I am curently reading the series untill the final issue 125th.
Story wise is great,Doug Moench wrote almost all the stories of Master of Kung Fu,and he developed Shang Chi as a character that is quite interesting.
Art wise,Paul Galacy and Mike Zeck are the artist´s that illustrated the majority of the stories from the stories i have read.
As somebody that have been a fan of Mike Zeck art ever since Secret Wars 1,it have been quite interesting to read now these stories when i think Mike Zeck was starting as a artist.
Paul Galacy art is quite inovative, would be quite cool that the artist had illustrated more stories in this comic book.
By re-Reading some stories and Reading now many stories of the Master of Kung Fu for the first time it´s not surprising that this comic book had over one hundred stories.

Sensational Spider-Man 25-26, Amazing Spider-Man 432-433, Spider-Man 88-90, Spectacular Spider-Man 254-256: It's generally okay stuff, covering the build-up to the Spider-Hunt crossover, the crossover, and the preludes to Identity Crisis. Sometimes the different titles clash with one another, with scenes that feel out of nowhere or redundant, but there is a good sense of the people Spider-Man affects, and how difficult the situation is.

Miracleman #1-16 (Marvel): Given all the golden age reprints, I'm also counting this as the equivalent of five 1950s comics. Those have their charm, even if they are so ridiculous the whole point for Moore's follow-up is that they can't be taken seriously. This is one of the most interesting and complete deconstructions of superheroes, and a powerful work that goes in a lot of directions, but does it quite well.

USA Comics #1-4: Given the size I'm counting this as the equivalent of twelve golden age comics. It's a ridiculous batch of comics of varying quality (Basil Wolverton's two stories are a highlight.)

Invincible #1-22: Decent mostly self-contained superhero series that quickly introduces the lead, and keeps it spirit even after a dark twist towards the end of the first big saga.

Black Bolt #1-6: Well-made sci-fi comic featuring characters who haven't had much to do with one another.

Emma Frost #1-18: Hardly essential, and sometimes haphazard pacing, although it's not terrible as an origin for Emma Frost.

DMZ #1-5: Solid world-building in a New York City abandoned by the US after an uprising.

Fantastic Four #296: I didn't enjoy the anniversary issue, with a Thing conflict that seemed to be a rehash, and a panoply of great artists delivering work that isn't their best.

Best of Enemies: A History of US and Middle East Relations Volumes 1 and 2: (10 Issues Worth)
Interesting and readable take on the nastiness of military history from the 18th Century.

Balder the Brave #1-4: Solid Simonson Thor spinoff, with some nice art from John Buscema.

Total So Far: 1043 Issues, 18 from the Golden Age, 15 from the 1950s, 35 from the 1960s, 100 from the 1970s complete (largely thanks to Marvel's kindle sales covering a lot of 70s Masterworks collections), 64 from the 1980s, 100 from the 1990s complete, 100 from the 2000s complete, 100 from the 2010s complete

Best of the batch: Miracleman. It came in with a lot of hype, but lives up to it. Although the presentation is a bit wasteful (we're paying for a lot of extras.) The recoloring job is astounding.
    Sincerely,
    Thomas Mets

Secret six (Gail Simone) vol 1-4 50
Probably one of my favourite in continuity DC series? I just love the idea of the team, the dynamic between the characters (especially Deadshot and Catman). Sometimes the missions are a bit repetitive but it didn't get boring at all. It's just a lot of fun with some hilarious scenes.
Iron Man: Stark Wars Epic collection 19
While this second Michelinie-Layton run is not as good as the O'neill ones before it I think bronze age Iron man is still my favourite BA series. I just like Tony and the supporting cast, the corporate troubles and the overall world of Iron man.
    Umbrella Academy vol 1-2 12
A quirky story about a quirky disfunctional superhero team/family. Interesting characters and scenarios, fun read, stylistically somewhere between Alan Moore and Grant Morrison (lots of weird things but with the hint of bitter nostalgia that was so noticeable in Watchmen and LoEG).
The Killer omnibus vol 1-2 22
I've heard so many great things about this series but it was ultimately just okay. I've sort of lost interest in the corporate machinations and the endless history lessons by the end but the more personal stories in the first half just weren't intriguing enough.
The main character came off as preachy and unlikable too. There was enough in it to make me finish it but I really don't see why all the hype around this book.
