    update:

Road to NML v1 TP (16) - I've come to the conclusion this era of Batman is just not very good. I'm forcing my way (slowly) towards NML, and while there is the occasional story or two that may stand out, it's a lot of crap to sift through. I feel like these collections are only for the completist, and I have a hard time believing that editorial spent SO much time spinning their wheels with "aftermath". I mean, we get it. There was a catastrophe and things are bleak, but it's probably been at least 6 months (of publication time, with another volume to go) where they are telling the same kind of examination stories (across all bat-books it seems) without really moving the narrative forward at all. I hope NML is worth it, because this is beginning to get painful.

Batwoman by Rucka & Williams TP (10) - I feel like this (and black mirror) will eventually get a premium release of some sort, but I've held out long enough wanting to read both. Both come highly recommended and both delivered. Probably some of the better bat-related stories I've read in quite awhile.

Black Mirror TP (11) - See above. Also, I really enjoy Dick as Batman. Reminds me I REALLY need to get around to reading Morrison's B&R.

Royal City v2 TP (5) - A wonderful arc that focused on the early years of the family. Sad this is ending with the next arc, but seems to be reaching a logical conclusion

We Can Never Go Home TP v1 (5) - After loving 4 kids, i wanted more Rosenberg indy stuff. This was decent, but i felt it had some pacing issues, and never reached the heights of the former. I know Cates is a hot name right now, but out of the newer guys, I've really enjoyed Rosenberg's stuff more tbh. I wonder if his Marvel stuff is any good?

    April

Ultimate Spider-Man: (178 issues) I'm rereading them to help me decide whether or not I should get the Miles Morales omnibus due in June. I had to pick up the last few in trades as I'd completely forgotten that I dropped the title after Ultimatum.
Untold Spider-Man Omnibus: (31 issues) Finally got a good deal on this omnibus!
Spider-Man/Deadpool: (12 issues) Deadpool 11 is possibly the funniest comic I've ever read. After finding out this run was by the same creative team I bought it straight away. It wasn't bad, but nowhere near as good as I hoped.
Daredevil - Born Again: (8 issues) Never read this before, though I've owned Miller's first DD run for years. Loved it!
Daredevil - Man Without Fear: (5 issues) Massive disappointment after reading Born Again.
Uncanny X-Force TP1: (20 issues) A great read so far.

    Total for month: 254 issues
    Total so far: 649 issues

Reading Grell's Green Arrow followed by the next volume. The TV show is a mixture of Grell, Wnick's One Year Later and Diggle's Year One mini. After I finish, I'm looking at some DC Star Trek comics.

    Sorry, just read your question.

I like them very much. The Archives are the old series, 90's art. Just a lot of fun. The Library is a new start. It's totally different from the Archives. You can't compare them. You need to focus more. The art is also good.

Thanks. Missed the boat on the archives last year, had too much other stuff i wanted to get to blind buy much else. Don't know if i feel like playing the track down game for those oos volumes, but i may try out the LE since it's its own thing. Dark Horse is usually pretty good about keeping things in print though, at least for a while.

    update:

BPRD: HoE HC v2 (16) - Loose ends get tied up and a surprising return. Still strong as ever

Batgirl (Rebirth) TP v1 (6) - This was a throw-in with another purchase i made. Not much going on here. I like Albuquerque's art, but the story's just meh.

The Losers (Vertigo) TP 1-2 (32) - Wow. What a great read. Action, espionage, humor, a thrill ride the whole way through. Hard to believe this hasn't gotten an omni or couple deluxes at this point, especially with Jock's name attached

I think the archives #1 will be the biggest problem https://www.cheap-comics.com/?submit...&s=tomb+raider
