So their enemy was revealed. Ochazuke, his feet trenched deep in the snow, could only look at it as the beast started to bear down on him*.
There was a slim chance any energy he could emit at this point would do anything - Sarada had estimated it about six times their strength, not that he would have a moment to charge a Dodonpa at this distance.
The cold sweat began to ice over where it rose on his face as he stared down their foe. Through clenched teeth, he inhaled once more, and a sharpness bloomed in his throat.
This foe being beyond him alone, he could only hope to keep it revealed to his companions.
Diminished, though ever resolute, with as large a shout he could manage Ochazuke surged his ki into the storm once more to keep the beast visible.
Koorimaru frowned as the source of the roar revealed its presence... or perhaps its presence had been revealed for it.
Truly varied in techniques, these Earthlings were and for a moment, that fact distracted him until he felt the air grow colder.
It didn't bother him of course, made for ice cold temperatures as his body was, but from the sudden reaction of his potential allies, he could tell that the fight was one that was better ended as soon as possible.
With 3 or so minutes left before he could make contact with the group, Koorimaru halted his trek and focused on a space in the ground. The creature was moving and moving fast, but if he timed it just right...
When the monster came steps before the location of his Void Tunnel, Koorimaru let the energy release from his body as a narrow pillar of energy shot upwards from the ground.

Bracing himself for the sudden impact, he was surprised to find that his descent had slowed suddenly, someone--or something?-- cushioning him, resulting in him landing on the wood below with an unceremonious thud, as opposed to the violent, painful crash he had expected.
Eh?
He didn't have the luxury of contemplating the nature of such things, however.
Quickly, he regained his composure, rolling to his side, beginning to right himself with a grunt.
The tip of his spear pierced slightly into the wood, as he used it to help prop himself.
That was entirely too close...my block was rejected completely.
Beads of sweat began to form on the face of the Nevadian. It was difficult to judge if it was from the energy expenditure, or from the stress of dealing with such an apparently superior opponent.
The sharp, throbbing pain in his wrist aside, he was as good as could be expected. He counted himself lucky that a more sizable injury did not occur.
Even if this did put him at even more of a disadvantage against a foe who made the difference between them apparent.
Still, a disadvantage was hardly insurmountable. And a challenge made for nothing, if not a good test of ones abilities.
She's too damn fast for me to keep up with, in terms of full speed...
Held let out a sigh of relief as he noticed someone--the one who kept bowing from earlier--gently descend with Jinzi in tow.
For a moment I was worried he splattered all over the deck..
"So...Maybe we got off on the wrong foot?" He said after a moment, pulling his spear from the timbers below. The tip was lowered slightly, still pointed towards her, but in somewhat of a less agressive posture.
"I don't know what you want with that guy, but i got the jist of it. How about you take that radar thing and go, and we call it squares? It'll be a long day for the both of us, otherwise."
Which was true for one of them, at least.
As he spoke, his red of his scelera overtook the red of his eyes, the entirety of it now a crimson red.
If nothing else, my Shingan should allow me to sense what she's up to a bit better...A woman like her must be overflowing with Ki..

Sasheem thought he had finally caught a break after the decades of hunger and the angry mobs when he finally escaped to this big city. But, what started off as a fairly decent day for once had spiraled into chaos. Even worse it was chaos, he had no part in.
Someone would have to pay. Starting with whoever was in the flying machine. Sasheem had to assume that whoever was inside of it was with the fools trapped in the barrier. The machine certainly seemed to focus it's attacks on those who fought the robbers.
And now there was even more noise on the horizon. This coty was becoming more of a bother. Back in the day he would've erased all annoyances, but now...?
More steam puffed out of Sasheem's pores as he sunk underneath the ground once more and 'swam' up the side of whatever was left of the sides of one of the ruined buildings near the bank. Just close enough to reach the machine with his arms.
Sasheem's arms lashed out, stretching toward and grabbing the machine, trying his hardest to pull it closer to the ground before it could start up another assault with its weapons.
The stranger stepped and started to walk toward them, seemingly perturbed that she managed to find him out behind his stellar hiding place of a tree. He was, well, she didn't know what he looked like, since he was covered in head to toe in thick clothing to protect himself from the cold. Smart, I suppose. For a weakling, anyway.
"Sure, the more the merrier." She may have loved a good fight all the time, but she wasn't stupid. A vital part of her training at the CTC was tactical fighting, that was to say how to fight smarter. It was smarter to fight stronger opponents in groups, rather than one on one. As much as she didn't want to, she had no choice.
Oh, one more thing. "We're out here to find some weak fools who got themselves captured," she added dismissively.
With a mighty... scream, the man dissipated part of the storm, thus revealing their next opponent. Twelve feet tall, with four arms, white fur, and horns curling back around its head. It was an ugly bastard, that was sure.
"Alright, let's dance, big man!" She yelled and sprinted full speed toward the monster. As she ran, she charged another Crimson Fist for when she got into range.
It was getting hard to breath. No, not harder. That was her body's natural reaction to how painful it had suddenly become to even take a breath. The air had gotten so cold, her lungs burned with each inhale. Fight through it. Pain is weakness leaving the body.
Midori paused her assault, turning to Shiro as she asked "What IS that?"
"I-I don't know." Shiro replied honestly, and Midori continued "Is it some kind of toilet... goblin... demon thing?"
"Possibly. But we shouldn't allow his holding our attacker in place slip by! We should bring the attacking vehicle down before it attacks again!"
"Right!" Midori said, focusing her eye beams on it as she charged up another of her Midori Riaotto Jaberins while Shiro alternated between firing her own eye beams and large finger beams at the vehicle.
Critics who treat adult as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence.

OOC: Hope you don't mind describing the house, Cleric. I can edit it out if necessary.
IC:
Ajna fairly burst out laughing, though he managed to restrain himself. His mood did improve momentarily though. Are you serious?! Mrs. Duck?
There were ducks everywhere. And not just yard decorations and the like, but there was a small family nesting in the yard as well just to the side of the path they'd walked to get to the door. Now that Ajna paid a little more attention, the entire home was running with the theme pretty hard. Painted a light yellow with white shutters, the home fairly exuded an inviting atmosphere.
Which made it all kinda surreal for him for a moment, considering the situation.
Ajna stood not far behind Charco as he opened the door, trying not to rubberneck as he tried to both glance over the guy's shoulder into the house without being overly rude, and keep an eye on their surroundings all at the same time.

Battle was far more fast-paced than Slak had anticipated.
No, that wasn't quite the right word to express it. Nothing that had happened was too fast for him, and calling it a battle was a bit too much since it wasn't like he was in actual danger. His power was more than enough to handle this safely. The same went for the other people who were trying to stop the criminals. Yet he found himself slow to action when the criminals' reinforcements arrived. It was not his body which was lacking. It was his mind. This type of situation was not thing he was used to, having grown up in peaceful Namek. However, if he wanted to see the universe, it was likely he would encounter this type of situation more often.
He would have to learn how to handle things better.
If he used his Dragon Shot, Slak was pretty sure he could destroy the vehicle. However, the explosion may cause some damage to the surrounding buildings. The streets in this city were entirely too cramped for his liking. That was not even getting into the damage the falling wreckage may cause or what may happen to whoever was inside.
For now, he focuses on sensing the energy of the people inside the vehicle.
OOC: Slak is trying to sense the Ki inside the hover. How many people are there and how strong they are? That sort of thing.

OOC: Cool.
IC:
Five people inside. No noteworthy powers. Blowing up the vehicle was out. However, letting those people out would only give them another chance to fire at civilians like the others had done.
A chance soon presented itself as the blue fighter moved to grab the vehicle. Slak's eyes glowed purple as he aimed his ki at the weapons, but also at the doors. If he did this right, he might be able to leave them trapped inside a hunk of metal.

For the moment, it seemed the first batch of enemies had been dealt with. And it seems my magic is effective.
Even so, she had a job to do and lurking in the background wasn't going to do herself any favors in the long run. There was an Sayain girl, as stated, along with two other men. Sensing further distance wasn't her strongest point just yet, she had to truly concentrate to feel anything. If she was nearby, she'd be able to feel the energy that much easier but as it was she couldn't feel much besides general things and a rough estimate how strong they were.
Another man revealed themselves, talking to the Sayain girl but she couldn't make out what they were saying. The energy was very familiar; but it couldn't be who she was thinking of.
There was no way they were here.
Karine decided it was time to reveal herself and stepped out of her spot to approach.
Of course, like all plans that sounded perfectly good on paper something had to go wrong.
An shift, an surge of energy, and a massive beast erupted from the storm that looked like something out of her nightmares. It was different but looked all too familiar of a creature that haunted her dreams as an child; one who had never left her since her cold brush with death on that winter trip. If it hadn't been for her father, she wouldn't have been here to tell anymore stories. She noticed her hand shaking slightly, spiking another emotion besides dread: defiance.
She was not an child anymore. Whether this creature was the same one, part of the same species or something else she wouldn't let her inner demons keep her from acting to help the lost little girl. Forcing apprehension away, Karine took aim with another lance, this time aimed at the eye..or what was close enough to it.
I have to get closer...
The idea didn't appeal to her, but she needed to coordinate with her allies so that was what she was going to do.
( Something makes me wish I did four now, still this situation is different for me.)
: He tumbles downstairs to the pool area and has a idea, it is drastic but he thought it up. What material to work his construct? Pool water. As for how to reach our flying enemy? Taunting!:
M” Hey you! Lass! Ya think your hot stuff, but your not too heavy enough for me!” Make fun of her breasts or lack of compared to what he is used to. That should do it. As he dives into water to get ready to trigger it.:
Definitely don't want to take too much more of that...
Though blocking that hail of gunfire wouldn't have been all that taxing normally, having to extend that protection to such a large area was proving itself to be quite the losing endeavor, as even the combined efforts of himself and the taller of the two girls were insufficient to fully stop the new hover's barrage.
Quickly moving to place the three being telekinetically restrained by him under more physical restraints so he could focus on reinforcing the shields, Kai addressed the literally steaming fishman.
"Don't you think it's a rather bad time to be picking a fight over waffles? With idiots like the ones up there firing down at us- at you- would you even have the time and peace of mind to actually eat anything- much less enjoy it?"
"See what I mean?" Kai added as bits of debris launched by the bullets stung him. Pointing at the new hover, Kai continued. "If you want waffles, go deal with that thing first. I need to get these people secured before things go too far south, or something even worse shows up."
Then, Kai takes a look around to see first just how many civilians were on the streets in potential danger and second if there was somewhere relatively secure they could be taken.
