With another maniacal laugh, she flew straight into another grouping of demons. This time, however, her sudden excitement and bloodlust dictated that she use a more hands-on approach.

With ki enshrouding her hands and feet, she engaged the demons head on. Her blows cracked sternums, caved in skulls, severed limbs, and knocked entire bodies back into the demons charging in behind her. While attacking, she kept her Battle Radar active. Any blow that came in from behind only interrupted her onslaught long enough for her to deftly dodge. She even managed to make them attack each other every once in a while.

: He got a idea. He fires off at several more demons, exploding them as he touches the ground.: “ Follow me you stupid bastards! I am losing my power, easy prey!”

Cuts ki flow lower to feign weakness. As he attempts being head of crowd, luring them to a death trap of his own making, shatters a Dragon Orb, not incoming benefit yet though. Once he senses enough targets and away from group. He teleports to the air.:

His power level was 320 now. He powers up his fire Construct mode again. The flaming sphere frees from his hand. Kept rolling into existence until it was the size of a skyscraper Obviously Kami rubbed off on him. As he then flexes his. Arm to launch the projectile.

    “ Titan Flame!!!”

As the massive sphere of fire denigrates, killing many monsters in vaporizing or reducing to cinders in a magic fire mushroom cloud. Afterwards a sizable crater of scorched Wartg was there.:

“ And no friendly was in sight. Good.”

    As he smirks.:

Koorimaru said through the psychic link Slak established, "Whether they are a herd of mindless animals or a hive mind, they must have an alpha, a queen, they submit their wills too. Such a leader in all likelihood will be located either towards the rear of the crowd, or secure in the centre-most position. Already a number of the group had leaped directly into the sea of beasts, while some other maintained a more restrained approach to the battle. Though he appreciated the latter, he could not say he shared similar sentiments of the former. Still, it would hardly do any good for him to allow even a single asset in this team to go to waste.

Floating upwards to gain a better grasp of the battlefield, and using the third of Jinzi's Orbs to achieve better clarity, Koorimaru proceeded to snipe at any beasts that came too close to those of his allies in the midst of the battlefield.

The demons....they had surrounded Sasheem once more, the second he arose from hiding, weapons raised prepared to unleash hell upon him. Sasheem twitched. He had to think. He had to concentrate.

Sasheem had ridden in one of these human vehicles once before, these limosuines, when he was first invited to join the Mah Syndicate. They were fairly comfortable. And it seemed to upset his new friends greatly when part of it was damaged.

The driver drove carefully, as Sasheem lay in the backseat, refusing to wear a seat belt as he chomped his way through a bag of potato chips. The last time he rode the driver drove over a bump, spilling everything Sasheem had begun to eat upon the floor. Needlessly to say, that didn't end so well for that driver...

"Mr. Sasheem...we've arrived at Coral Canyon..." the driver coughed.

Sasheem had waited until he finished his bag of chips, shaking the bag until nothing but the smallest crumbs were left. Tossing the bag on the floor, Sasheem blasted the roof from the limosuines and leaped out.

"Zij...!!" he exclaimed, noting the site before him. Two large canyon walls covered in moss, a small green covered valley and river bed lying between them.

Beautiful sight. Sasheem wanted to blow it up. He tossed a ki blast at one of the canyon walls. He was sure whoever was supposed to be teaching him wouldn't mind...and if they did, Sasheem didn't particularly care.

He was quite disappointed and surprised to see that it had been deflected back...at him! The Majin moved out of the way, allowing the blast to just narrowly miss the limo. The driver promptly speed off.

Sasheem stopped in his tracks...there was ki here. A lot of it. And they were readying to attack.

"Your first lesson, creature..." a voice hissed. "Have you ever been overwhelmed? If so, how do you deal with it?"

Ki blasts suddenly surrounded him, circling the Majin but remaining suspended in the air...before suddenly closing in on him from all sides.

    "Uaaagh!" Sasheem roared in surprise.
The Snake School had its own way of fighting multiple opponents. While the Crane School was the first to begin the use of the Multi-Atm technique, it was the Snake School that perfected it, as the Snake Mistress would put it.

One must conentrate their mind on a singular goal. It required focus to acess the Sacred Naga Palm technique. Something that most would assume impossible for a creature such as Sasheem. But that was far from the truth. He was often nothing but focused, though only on two specific goals. Hunger, of course, was often the motivator for him, but it was not his main interest. After all, in the past he didn't need much help in feeding himself, his magic ability uninhibited by vile toilets, but he allowed himself to be bribed with such feasts anyway...until he got bored. Food was food, but when his interest waned...that's when his true passion resurfaced.

What he was made for, what he born to have wrought. Utter chaos. Rampant annihilation.

    Do-DOM!

Two additional arms sprout from his right side.

    Do-DOM.

Two additional arms sprout from his left side.

    BOM-BOM!

And one arm sprouted from his back.

A sacred technique of the Snake School. Naga Palm.

One such palm slammed into one of the demon's heads, following up with a ki blast to it's face. Another jabbed one of the monsters in the thread throat, while another launched a punch to one of the demon's kidneys. Sasheem's focus was narrowed in on these creatures and erasing them from existance.

As Asha'rah felt the group mind link form and its constituents go into battle, she noticed Midori and Shiro reunited, each using new ranged techniques. Shiro summoned a small arsenal of ki spears, launching them as javelins to skewer her targets, each attack having far greater piercing power than the average ki blast. And Midori...her technique looked downright familiar. A half dozen glowing orbs of ki surrounded her, which she seemed to direct through her own will. They hurtled forward in formation, then split and sought out targets of their own, chasing them down and blowing them apart.

"What a divine technique, Midori." Asha'rah said, her tone carrying the amusement of self-awareness.

A change overcome Jack as his cigarette fall. His mood darkened and his muscles tightened. He tore into the demons with wrath in his eyes, personal hurt long since twisted into uncontrollable rage. Jack had said he walked a path of redemption. Had those he'd left behind let their chance slip by?

Surrounded by the bodies of his enemies, Jack abruptly snapped back, remembering himself long enough to retreat and retrieve another cigarette. The deathstick instantly calmed him down, and Asha'rah found herself wondering if it was a placebo effect. Normally, nicotine neither entered nor left the human body that quickly.

"Your strength has grown Jack. Have you been working out?"

Asha'rah made a show of cracking her knuckles as she stepped forward, though her fingers of course lacked the ligaments to mimic such sounds. As more demons climbed over their fallen brethren, her body began to exude a dark violet aura. Wisps escaped here and there, promising oblivion to all who touched it. She speared the first one with a lunging Chang Quan fist, and part of its torso simply disappeared. She dodged a sword swing and swept the legs from another, and it collapsed missing a half dozen knees. She timed her attacks to build upon Jack's work, killing demons so their bodies fell upon the corpses of those who came before them. Each layer added another layer of difficulty for the demons behind to cross, killing their momentum as they were forced to climb upon their own dead to get to Asha'rah. She thus had ample time to maim them as they arrived, further adding to the growing pile. Before long, she had erected a makeshift barricade of demon bodies, stemming the tide at the choke point for the moment.

It could definitely still use work, but I think I'm regaining the hang of this.
Meagan heard Asha'rah through the telepathic link. Meagan x3 were still flying, at high speed, invisibly ,over and through the army of creatures, disarming them whenever possible. Though she had considered turning back, instead she continued forward towards the rear of onslaught. If there was anything else coming up behind, she need to give the others a heads up as soon as possible.

"Jeez. Someone's frustrated." Charco said to himself, having heard her all the way from his location.

Much like the others, he wasn't entirely sure what they were supposed to do here, thus he spent his time fighting off those who got close to their group.

Avoiding the blade of a sword, the teenager disarmed the creature before running it through with its own weapon; a tactic he had used for several more of its fellows.

Someone let me know when we figure this out... He telepathically said to the group, ... It's kinda hard for me to hold back...

But still, it was enough to cause Zaofan to say verbally rather than over the mental link, "So THAT's what we're doing now, is it? Well, alright." Misinterpreting Jack's ferocity, Zaofan took that as a sign and permission to dole out as much pain as he could.

He shot a quick beam of optic energy so that the ends of his bo staff glowed red. He removed his weighted cape to grant him more speed and mobility, and threw the cape into a centaur's face, firing a glowing slash across the centaur's face. Then he *really* went to work.

Running from the side and behind Jack, Zaofan parried, blocked, twirled his staff around their swords, his feet dancing over their blades, as in a flurry of strikes and parries and sword blocks he struck their chests, guts, faces, swinging the bo staff up to hit one square in the chin. Double handed spins, blocking strikes aimed for his back, bending low and spinning the bo like a helicopter blade, he maintained his whirlwind assault while running, making sure to keep an eye on their deadly bladed tails. Each blow upon their flesh bursting with a heavy THUD sound, every sword clanging against the Katchin bo staff.

Running up against a wall of a half-dozen centaurs, he decided to try something new: combining the speed and accuracy of the Rekan Geki with his mighty staff Bojack, stabbing repeatedly the six centaurs over and over again and slamming their joints, dozens and dozens of strikes hitting key muscle and joint areas. "AAAAAA-TATATATATATATATATA!"

And, grabbing hold of one end of the bo staff, he took a mighty slash to the left, the staff swinging his body to the side, and then slashed just as powerfully to the right, bringing his body back to its starting position. "WAAAA-TAAAAAA!" The six centaurs were sent flying, painfully.
From nearby Midori frowned as she said "He just stole my cry for rapidly punching people while using Meteorikku Basuto."

Sighing in annoyance, Midori had flame-like ribbons of energy spiraling around her body. As small flecks of golden light, resembling dust blowing off of her skin joined the flame-like energy ribbons, Midori cupped her hands to the left side of her waist.

"GAAAAAOOOON" Midori chanted as a ball of energy formed in her cupped hands. Thrusting her hands forward with a cry of "KYANON!" sending forth a powerful beam of energy toward the seemingly endless horde of demons.

Shiro extended her arm, pointing her hand as a large orb of white energy formed before it. Making sure none of her allies were in her way or where she was going to attack, she sent the orb flying into the charging enemies, where it hit and detonated in a massive explosion, everything in range of the explosion.
Critics who treat adult as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence.

In the midst of the enemy, Adam collects itself into a solid mass and batters a demon in the chest. Grabbing it around the neck, it flings it around, smashing it into it's fellows, then hurling it into the horde. Scooping up their weapons, Adam leaps into the air, throwing the demon blades like a rain of knives. As it lands a demon rushes at the android, but Adam holds it's hand out to the side. "Paramagnetic Tether Beam." A discarded shield from one of it's previous targets darts in from the demon's left, crashing into it's weapon hand. As it recovers and snarls, a blade sinks into it's neck. Closing it's hand, Adam cancels the antigavitational energy. By now the demons have begun to focus on it, a score of them closing simultaneously. The android stands, waiting for them. "Transitory Invulnerability Engine." For an instant it's surface changes from silvery to matte black, and the demon weapons shatter against it. Adam's arms snap out, decapitating two of them, then snags a third, pulling it down to the android's eye level. It raises it's left hand to the demon's jaw, looking it in the eyes. The android's voice is almost casually conversational. "Piston-Driven Megaton Hammer." The titanium hand crashes into the demon, shattering it's skull like an egg.

"I can get any strays that come too close, but my magic isn't favorable against heavy numbers like this."

"Yes, but shes not on her own...I can communicate with her from her. A good mage uses all their assists, familiars included." Etrina pointed to the area Erosa was violently tearing around. Asha'rah spotted Erosa amid the carnage, her alabaster skin by now speckled with gore from her simulated slaughter. She reached out to the familiar with her mental link.

Erosa, can you hear me? Would you like to play a game?

His insight revealed nothing more about the charging horde but that they were the enemy before them. A mundane task, but it would suffice. Others dashed into the melee. The earth quaked and moaned from the actions of another. Shadows extended from the flash and glare of aerial attacks. With a low sigh Ochazuke, resigned to the menial task, started walking to an untended section of the wild growth of demons on the plateau when he heard Zaofan over the mental link.

    "It doesn't matter."

In his right hand he charged a ki orb, flattened the edge to a razor's sharpness, and cast the glimmering projectile hovering above before him.

    Senko Setsudan!

"There are hundreds of stories. All of them ended the same way."

Attacked from all angles, the Demon Steeds sought to close ranks, and in doing so, end them by envelopment. A time-tested strategy to seize the decisive moment against an equal force. Though an illusion of the soul, they were on no equal playing field to them.

The Flash Cutter sped between the legs of a charging demon, slowing its course only as its edges bit savagely into muscle and tendons of the eight legs of its undercarriage, elegant illumination cast behind the viscous gore as it wound beneath one demon and into another, zig-zagging wildly.

Ochazuke prepared a second and threw it, matching the course of its twin, and charged the ki blast upon his finger, clasping his wrist and stabling his base.

"Act as you will, my friend, for their story ended thousands of years ago.

An envelopment would work if their force could not be divided. His back to the melee fighters, Ochazuke would watch their backs and divide the demon forces from the outward angle he faced.

Making his mark, Ochazuke fired a fully charged column of burning energy into the Flash Cutter on the ground.

    Super Dodonpa!

Crashing through and searing a swathe of the charging beasts, when it met the ki orb that weaved between them, it shot upwards. Reflected into its twin satellite, the Dodonpa spun wildly marking a blazing wide circumference as it sped off, spiral trenches weaved into the burning plateau as it was carried by the Flash Cutters ever deeper into the Horde and to the horizon for as long as their structures would hold.

"Nevertheless, we stand surrounded. We should move to somewhere we can defend and face the enemy from a single angle."

Raising his finger, he charged another Dodonpa in his left, and another Flash Cutter in his right, scanning the horizon for a better position.

His Dragon Shot is charged and ready. If he throws it at the horde, it will create a sizable explosion. That would be nice. Yes, it would.

    Slak's eye twitches.

The battlefield is unfortunately too much of a mess for him to risk it, even with the advantage of the psychic link. Growling, he wills the Ki back into his body and lands on the ground. One of the beasts charges at him. Slak focuses the ki he just absorbed into his body. Purple lightning crackles over his skin.

    Scales of the Dragon

The beast raises its front legs to stomp on him. Slak holds out his arms and grabs the beast's legs, stopping its charge cold. Slak then throws the beast aside into the tide of its brethren.

    Fine.

Slak walks towards the horde with purpose.

It looks like they do not have the luxury of doing things the easy way

“Gao?” Erosa casually backflipped out of the path of a demon, slicing the torso off another and chucking its remains in a shower if gore onto her previous attacker. “Always time for game....what robo monk have in mind?”

Two of Asha'rah's orbs floated over, one of them briefly touching Erosa's forehead. Tag, you're It! Asha'rah laughed, a hint of playful mischief in her voice.

Then the orbs sped off, orbiting one another in a roughly circular pattern as they barged their way through a host of demons like sentient cannonballs. In their wake, they left a trial of disruption and broken limbs, easy pickings for Erosa to follow through on if she gave chase.

A demon lifted Zaofan by the arms, high off the ground. But a simple optic blast to the face took care of it.

"I was afraid of that," he broadcast on the mental link.

Dropping to the ground, landing on one knee, Zaofan fired another optic blast, this time one that ricocheted off several centaurs, bouncing from one target to the next, knocking each one out in the process.

He broadcast again telepathically. "Everyone who took a count of these hordes... Did you see any end to them?"

“ Not really. Though I blew up a big ass chunk of them. I am flying ahead to see if there are more types of creatures.”

As he does just that, flying past chargers at safe distance to see what else there was.
