Animaniacs Reboot: Are these characters going to work in today’s market?

Wellp, I'm 8 episodes in. For anyone worried that the show might lose its edge trying to stay with the times, there's an implied internet porn joke, a good chunk of Ren & Stimpy-esque gags, nipple rubbing, and a villain with visible pubes. Yeah, they say it's a kids show but it definitely pushes some boundaries, and I love it.

There's also a Schwarzenegger parody which at first I thought would have seemed very outdated, but it ended up being, so far, my favorite sketch of the show.

Watched all 13 episodes.

Some segments missed but otherwise not bad. It does get mean spirited at times.

Also yes they have two education segments. The masterpiece spoof one was great.

Was surprised at two of the pinky and the brain endings however--

The last episode ending was out of nowhere and the daycare episode. Daycare ends with them in a jr high strapped in and about to be cut open by a teenage girl! It just ends with them avoiding her knife over and over but still stuck with no escape! Dark! Lucky yakko says in the next segment they will be back next episode as they are cartoons!

Also i do miss slappy. Hope she comes back next season. The alien one shot was great. Hope they bring it back. Feels like a updated mindy segment. The gnome one as a 70s hulk spoof was not as good. Didn't care for it as much.

Fun start but could be tuned a bit more for season 2 to make it better.
