With the Ultimate Gobin, the character designs, the way it was portrayed, and Bendis' own inentions it was pretty clearly a reborn Ultimate universe.

It definitely wasn't the Renew Your Vows universe.

Indeed the more I look at this the more it looks like Bendis saying goodbye to the UU. But that doesn’t mean the Ultimate Universe is back. Don’t believe the hype this is just sentimental. Of course the internet exploded with news about how the UU was back. They are mostly reactionary and uninformed guys working from their bedrooms to garner clicks on websites. Nothing to see here, move along.

I can't think of what else it was supposed to signify other then the Ultimate Universe being back in some form.

Obviously Marvel and other writers will be free to do whatever they want, but in the context of that story and Bendis' intentions I think it's pretty clear what that universe was.
