Default How do you rank the Messiah Trilogy in all time X-men stories

The Messiah trilogy books were some of the first x-men books I read. I enjoyed them greatly and still love them to this day with Second coming being my fav wig messiah complex just right behind it. I was wondering if I was the only one who felt these stories were some of the all time great ones

Messiah Complex is contender for one of the best x-stories of all time.
    Second Coming is REALLY good.
    Messiah War is a turd.

Probably my favorite X-men story of the last 15 years.
It's hard for me to listen to someone not in my position. A caterpillar can't relate to what an eagle envisions.

I don’t think Messiah war was up to par but I don’t think it was trash either imo

I think Messiah Complex is one of the better action-oriented crossovers for sure.

My all time favorite. Needs the omnibus treatment.

The Messiah Trilogy did a wonderful job investing the entire franchise in a way that I don't think any of the X-Events have since. EVERYONE got to play a significant role, not just the same handful of core characters while everyone else just put in token wallpaper appearances.

I'd like to see a line-wide crossover — all hands on deck, every single book has issues that are part of the event itself, not just tie-ins — again.

Everything about that crossover felt dire and important. Nothing about any of the books today feels like those did.

I loved it. It got me back into reading comics after a 8 year hiatus. As others have said it just seemed so important and connected. I don't think any crossover since has even come remotely close.

Yep that’s another thing I loved about it
