I love that cover. One of my favorites of all time. I even have it as a poster, hanging up in my comic book room.

I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:

Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.

Excellent, Güicho! BTW, the first time I ever saw Ra's and lovely Talia was on that cover.

Congrats to Güicho for that great Adams cover.
And thanks for the three votes for my Steranko gem. Closest I've come to a win in a awhile.
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

Congratulations Güicho! A masterful Neal Adams Batman cover.

Thank you ChadH and LordMikel for voting for the Marko Djurdjevic Daredevil #100 wraparound cover which I deem to be a true masterpiece. Sublime to say the least.

Thanks icctrombone, terrific theme brought some great covers!
Thanks for the votes, and to Neal Addams for the cover.

So as I understand it, I'm supposed to start a new theme and thread asap.
    The OP post says:
"The winner gets to start the next contest. To avoid repeats, he, she or they can check previous themes here."

(I'm having no luck with a search) Anyone have a link to the previous themes?
