Ok, I'm pretty stoked right now!! I live in SoCal and am looking forward to the Long Beach Comic Expo. I don't know, over the last several years I've been made aware of more and more either superhero or star wars burlesque to say nothing of the outright porn parodies. My understanding is long as the producers make it clear that their product is a parody and has no connection to the official release there's not much Marvel/DC, etc can do about it. Plus I kinda think that they don't want to make a big deal of it anyway cuz that may result in free publicity for the pornographers.


I do find it interesting that some fans like to point out that a few of these superhero parodies turn out to be more comics accurate than the Hollywood releases. LOL

I've seen the Star Wars Burlesque parody a few years ago and it was pretty amazing. I know that they did take them to court, twice and it was thrown out. Looking at this groups website they do a fair amount of parody stuff. Their Harry Potter looks pretty funny. Wish I lived closer to see more of their shows. There are about four of us going to see this, should be fun
