    Wolverine.

Batman has always bored me tremendously. I don't mean that as a knock- we all have different tastes. I just never really get anything outta his character.
Your favorite superhero- the one you visit these forums to talk about. Would they talk to others the way you do on this message board?

I respect your opinion but this is pretty much how feel about Wolverine and most of X-Men in general.

I'm with you. There should be a choice C for that.

    Batman got more swag

Jean really is the worst character in Marvel, isn't she?
    Scemma forever Triangle never.
Scott needs an alpha female like Bettsy.
What woman wouldn't be attracted to Scott? He's 100% alpha male who tells the Avengers to go f*#& themselves.
I want cyclops back free from any ginger women to be his own man.
    Logically..
TeenClops should have lusted for Emma & Cuckoos. Especially Stepford Cuckoos! They're teenage triplet clones of his hottest ex, how could he not be?
    End of rant

    Wolverine, right?

Wolverine is my favorite Marvel character, Batman is my favorite DC character. I won't say which character is better, but Wolverine was the character that got me into comics period. So I'm gonna vote for Logan partially for that reason... and also because Batman doesn't seem to get nearly none of the hate Wolverine receives even though he eclipses him in appearances both in books and media.

That I will agree with. Batman just looks way more impressive than any uniform Wolverine has ever had.

Batman. He has a more mythical quality as a character to him. He's also a much more versatile character. Wolverine is Wolverine. Batman in the 90's is very different from the Batman of today and nothing like the 1970's Batman etc. Also there are just far more great solo Batman stories.

three pages in and nobody mentined frank miller?
this is a comic book forum, right?
i read wolverine limited series before other material done by FM. i was on a skiing holiday, austrian alps, 12 years old and there i found wolverine ls 1-4 collected as a tradepaperback in some random grocery store.
    blew my mind.
claremont and miller just defined logan (never call him james), while batman was reimagined at that time.
miller had a defining impact on both characters, but batman is more iconic.
    iŽll always favour logan though

that was the cover of the TPB btw. nothing doom in it, but i wasnŽt dissatisfied

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Sorry for the double Post but I do wonder if I should've put a 'neither' or 'both' on the poll but what's done is done. Might try that for a future thread.

Writing as if all of those other characters are just background or supporting for him, really did not do him any favors, in my opinion.

I also liked him better when the healing factor didn't mean he apparently does not feel pain, and that all injury is irrelevant to him:

Don't try to pretend he's like Batman or even Captain America, if he can do stuff like that. Spider-Man can throw cars if he wants, and he would at least pause for a second, with most of the flesh burned off his face. Not this little tough guy, though! Too badass!

Nah, stupid. Old school Wolverine, for the win.
Times like this I wish I had those scans of Batman defeating Wonder Woman by kicking her in the stomach.
