Trying to Find Title of Comic

Hi,

I hope I'm not violating forum rules...it did say we can ask questions.

I'm trying to find the name of a title of comics which had subjects that were anthropomorphic dogs (these may have actually been stories inside of comics containing several different story lines). The dogs were each a specific breed and I believe that they were English/British...I seem to remember Scotty dogs in bearskin hats and uniforms. It may have been a post-apocalyptic setting as I also remember the dogs were subjected to attacks from flying beetles that emitted fire. These comics were issued sometime in the '70's.

Not sure if it was American or British. I would have to say American, but can't be certain. And it was in color.
