Im reading the argus mini from the new 52 and it references a past between Diana and Steve. I know the main title never touched on it, but was there ever a time they were together in a book before they broke up?

I think there were a couple flashback images in the ARGUS mini of Forever Evil But beyond that no concrete exploration of their dating. The early JL issues went into the past a few times but that was when she first arrived and they were still getting to know each other.

Nope. As soon as the New 52 started, Diana and Steve had already been long broken up.
