Should Ellen Page play her still? Or should it be recasted. I prefer a new actress to play her in the new X-men spin off. Abigail Breslin or Laura Marano.

How about the story? what would you chose for her first solo movie?

How about Colossus? Should he appear in her solo?

And how about the rating? R or PG?

They just try to adapt MechaniX, from the X-treme X-men from the mid 00's. That's a pretty good stand alone Kitty Pryde story keeps the world open without it being tied up.

Honestly, I can't see the film getting made, because the Disney takeover of 20th Century Fox should be finalised before it goes into production. At any rate, if it does get made, I'd recast and avoid connections to any other films (they could mention that the X-Men exist, just don't show them, because the MCU would definitely recast them). That way, if need be, they can just retcon the film into the MCU, and have a character we already know be used to introduce us to the rest of the X-Men.

Colossus definitely won't be used. He's already in Deadpool, so their relationship would be even more squick than it is in the comics.

Yes, this would be a great vehicle to launch with. Also we’d get Karma and Shola.

They might have to adapt it for highschool instead though, with Kitty leaving tor Xavier’s at the end. With Shan they could also tie into NM2 is they wanted to go that direction.

By “alternate universe” I meant one of many universes in the multiverse. Not apart of the Avengers timeline.

As long as it's completely rebooted, I wouldn't mind a separate X-Men universe away from the Avengers.
