I'm struggling with a minor quandary. Not sure who I want in the armor. This is either going to be Apocalypse Jack (Nightmare Before Christmas), or Apocalypse Mickey. The snark in me is leaning towards the latter, but Jack is my favorite Disney character of the entire lot. Decisions, decisions. I'll decide and finish later today. Time for breakfast/brunch.

#33 Apocalypse as portrayed by the inimitable Jack Skellington (The Nightmare Before Christmas)


I played around with a few different colors and found myself liking this version more than just the blue and black. (Clearly, I have Galactus on the brain this week.) The only other version that I prefer more reduces the hue down to an almost parchment color, which wouldn't do for this jam. All in all, Jackocalypse is a pretty intriguing character to draw. I imagine someday even Apocalypse has to grow weary of the survival of the fittest schtick.

For my 10th pick I'll take #36, please.

this character was the first thing that came to my mind for wolvie, although i though of captain hook (jackman played him in pan) or gibbs from pirates of the carribean (because of his sideburns). also thought about wolvie in a mickey costume. but, i just decided to stick with my first idea

Very nice work. You beat me to it. I was sketching a few mash-ups for Wolverine as several Disney characters, including Quasimodo, Tarzan, Mowgli, Chip/Dale and Shere Khan (The Jungle Book).
