That's a... really long list. Which, is a lot more heartwarming than if it was a really short list.

I love most of the old Blondie series, the first three Eko Eko Azarak movies are fantastic, the first Turtles movie is good (and the Turtles Forever thing, whether that's a, movie or not), Cutey Honey, Blueberry, The Trial of the Incredible Hulk and Death of the Incredible Hulk, three of the four Crow movies, despite some flaws are all worth repeat watches, basically enjoy all the Marvel Cinematic-U movies, The Extraordinary Adventures of Adele Blanc-Sec, My Youth in Arcadia, The Phantom, Dick Tracy, the Golgo-13 movies are all pretty good, Ichi the Killer, Terra E, Barbarella is brilliant...
Patsy Walker on TV! Patsy Walker in new comics! Patsy Walker in your brain! And Jessica Jones is the new Nancy! (Oh, and read the Comics Cube.)

    My Top 10:

    The Dark Knight
    Captain America: The Winter Soldier
    Man of Steel
    The Dark Knight Rises
    X2
    Dredd
    The Avengers
    X-Men: First Class
    Watchmen
    Batman Begins

Yeah, I know there are probably some controversial choices in there. But who the hell cares? I loved Man of Steel and TDKR. I'm not including animated movies on this list because I haven't seen enough of them, only JL War, Flashpoint Paradox & The Dark Knight Returns - I'd rather class them in a different list to the live action stuff.

EDIT: Also, just remembered that Dredd counts. Updated the list.

    X-Men: First Class
    The Avengers
Kurt Angle:"Canada is lacking two things. The first is Olympic heroes, and no Ben Johnson does not count. The second is Memorial Day.We in the States celebrate our heroes by having barbecues.I realise here in Canada you can't have barbecues because you'd be attacked by a moose,a caribou or even a grizzly,it's true! Hold on a second - you'd probably be attacked by a grizzly as well.On second thought..the Grizzlies don't beat ANYBODY here in Vancouver, let alone anywhere else,it's true,it's true!"

Probably some controversial choices and omissions, but I like what I like. I know a few of these may not be specifically based on actual comic books per se, but I largely consider them a part of the genre anyway. For ease, I split my list into two eras. Before and after 2000, since the first X-Men movie is (I believe) generally considered the beginning of the modern comic book movie era.

    PRE-2000
    1. Batman (1989)
    2. The Rocketeer
    3. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
    4. The Shadow
    5. The Phantom
    6. Batman Returns
    7. Batman: Mask of the Phantasm
    8. Dick Tracy
    9. The Mask
    10. Blade

HONORABLE MENTIONS: Batman (1966), Batman: SubZero, Darkman, Heavy Metal, Spawn, Swamp Thing, Tales from the Crypt (1972), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II, The Vault of Horror, Virus.

    POST-2000*
    1. Captain America: The First Avenger
    2. Spider-Man
    3. X-Men: First Class
    4. Captain America: The Winter Soldier
    5. X-Men Origins: Wolverine
    6. The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen
    7. Dredd
    8. The Dark Knight Rises
    9. Man of Steel
    10. Green Lantern

HONORABLE MENTIONS: Alien vs. Predator, Batman Begins, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, The Incredible Hulk, The Punisher, Road to Perdition, Sky High, Spider-Man 2, Superman/Batman: Public Enemies, Superman Returns, Thor, Thor: The Dark World.

    * This list is a little more uncertain. Some of the movies are still relatively new, and I haven't re-watched some nearly as many times as the pre-2000 movies, so my order of preference can still shift around. But this is how they stand with me at the moment.

I think the original Raimi Spider-Man still might be my favorite. It's just such a perfectly structured story; everything just clicks together so well.

I also love Iron Man, The Dark Knight, Superman: The Movie, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, Captain America: The First Avenger, and The Avengers.
