In this arc, Diana has taken both her and Jason simultaneously. Grail sucker punched her yet this still happened (google search sure is helpful):

She was lucky Jason went full Poseidon, otherwise Wonder Woman would have slaughtered her.

The second time Diana was about to, again, fight both of them, until Darkseid intervened.

Grail was also taking on the whole Justice League.

Now she's portrayed as Diana's WWE practicing partner.

    See a pattern?

Let's not pretend Darkseid will be any different.
Sooo, Diana gets in a good move on Grail and suddenly that's complete proof that had the match gone on Grail would have been destroyed? I'm not really seeing the logic. She got Grail good there, absolutely. Where's the indication Grail couldn't have given back?

And just when he was about to recover his reputation, after Darkseid War, when he was taking the whole Justice League alone without breaking a sweat and fighting Anti-Monitor.

Well, at least the DCU has Anti-Monitor, until he tries to get Atlantis and Aquaman beats him or something.

What pretentious rubbish. You word this as if people wanting consistency with how threatening a villain is, is somehow a bad thing.

It can be funny to see Bendis have Thanos dragged away in hand cuffs but it makes it harder for other writers to present him as a credible threat.

Darkseid was heavily established for years as a big bad, Earth 2 is dead because, the idea that a writer can come along and just have Diana handle it is just sh*t writing. Although that's to be expected with whoever is writing this current arc, power levels aside character motivations where thrown to the dogs and nothing makes sense. We could have had an interesting story involving Grail raising the avatar of Tyranny but she does a complete 180 and wants him a big and evil again with no explanation as to why she's going through all the trouble of making him an adult when she made him a baby. Also Jason being introduced as super friendly, then flipping to family murder mode and then flipping back all within a few hours.

The best thing we'll have gotten out of these two runs, Rucka's and Robinson's, is the reintroduction and development of Wonder Woman's rogues gallery. Ares, Cheetah, Veronica Cale, Doctor Cyber, Colonel Poison, Circe, Giganta, Grail and Silver Swan are back in circulation, with a fresh coat of narrative paint. That's something a skilled and inspired writer can build on...

    But where is that writer?
COMBINING THE BIGBADITUDE OF THANOS WITH CHEETAH'S FEROCITY, IS JANUS WONDER WOMAN'S GREATEST SUPERVILLAIN?...on WONDABUNGA!!! Look alive, Kangaliers!

I don't think that it is really about power levels in itself, but "protecting" the characters for future stories. For example when Anti-Monitor was revealed during Sinestro Corps War it was huge deal because he wasn't seen for a long time and it was established in previous storyline that he is universe-ending threat so the whole story managed to generate lots of hype solely on that. But if you'd bring him back now for some event? People would care less because his status has greatly diminished since then.

To be fair, only Barry of the Justice League comes out looking half way decent in Titans. The rest come out looking like asses, to one degree or another.

Didn't Superman get to beat up Darkseid? I mean how much should Diana be able to harm Darkseid?
