I think the timing is perfect for Polaris. She has become a major force in The Gifted, but hasn't really had a chance to shine in the comics for quite some time. Not since Magneto's solo series, which Bunn also wrote, has she been given a significant role to play. The idea of her being a leader for a new X-men team in X-men Blue makes perfect sense, especially since Bunn wrote her character so well in the past. I think this will bode well for Polaris in the near-future.

I believe the girl with pigtails is Gazing Nightshade. A character Bunn created in Blue.

X-Men Red - two Wolverines
X-Men Blue - two Wolverines
well, well, well...
Dropped blue recently because while it wasn't bad it was becoming stale for me. I ain't a fan of the Daken and Jimmy being on the same team but definitely picking it back up.
I am so excited for these teams even though they might be temporary.

I'm excited for it, I'm looking forward to seeing Rogue & Iceman on the same team again.
Lorna doesn't look right in anything but green though.
Too many dinky alt characters on the Blue team. Jimmy and Bloodstorm? Who the hell is 'Glazing Nightshade'?
Gold team looks cool but it's going to suck if Guggs is still writing.
The Weapon X solicitation indicates that a new lineup is coming there as well.
I love Xorn!
Or the idea of Xorn.
...Or one of the Xorn ideas....
Which one could this be?
Yeah, that's Gazing Nightshade, alright.
