I think the timing is perfect for Polaris. She has become a major force in The Gifted, but hasn't really had a chance to shine in the comics for quite some time. Not since Magneto's solo series, which Bunn also wrote, has she been given a significant role to play. The idea of her being a leader for a new X-men team in X-men Blue makes perfect sense, especially since Bunn wrote her character so well in the past. I think this will bode well for Polaris in the near-future.

Dropped blue recently because while it wasn't bad it was becoming stale for me. I ain't a fan of the Daken and Jimmy being on the same team but definitely picking it back up.

That's the formula of Modern Marvel. In every new recipe, add a Wolverine. Maybe even 2 for extra flavor.

We couldn't get a new Exiles book without another Wolverine variant popping up. That's gonna keep me from reading that.
