Born and raised in a galaxy far, far away...
Every day is a gift, not a given right.
I haven't seen the character I've been thinking of. After voting ends and if they have not been revealed, I shall let you know who I am thinking of.

I was about to change my Big Barda cover, because she deserve much love (which means only one entry - btw thanks for the scans and the infos about the various ? Barda. DC can be so complicated , for a DejahThoris cover. But I posted one already a few weeks ago and I was hesitating between the Cockrum cover for The Dejah Thoris Story and this one by Jay Anacleto - which is absolutely gorgeous (but I guess I was shy to show once more that I'm a pig).
Now I don't know what to post anymore! And, more important, what to vote between the two alien women I'm currently in love with (King's Mister Miracle and Amy Chu's Dejah Thoris are both on my pull-list... and I expect much of both!).

I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:
Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.
