Favorite movies of 2017 anyone?

Just watched Jumanji last night. Very fun movie, had a lot of heart.

That was not the point of the film. The point of the film was spoilers:

K longed for significance, and thought that being born of woman as, opposed to being genetically engineered (ie. created in a lab) was what made him significant or gave him his humanity. But he found that significance is found through the choices we make and the things we do. Not the virtue of our birth.

end of spoilers It was a similar lesson Rey learned in TLJ.

But it's pretty cliche. Sure he learned that but so what.

I watched Girls Trip today. Its so much fun that it has to enter my top ten of the year. So, for now let me just list my favorites. I will make a ranking later after i watch all the films i plan to. There's quite a few i have to watch yet.

Having finally gotten around to seeing The Shape of Water, that definitely makes it into my top 10. Beautifully crafted love story by GdT.

Kong is a nice throwback to the old school adventure films like the Relic and more.

I will have to watch Kong soon,i wanted to watch it in the Cinema due the special effects but did not had time while it was in the Cinemas.
