So, for those who doesn't know who Christopher Priest is, he is "just" one of the best contemporary comic book writers out there, currently writer of two critically books for DC Comics, Justice League and Deathstroke, the last one nominated for an Eisner last year.
Here's a picture of him:
And here's a screencap of the promo that Marvel posted at the exact moment he shows up, 43 seconds into the video:
With the new "No Justice" saga happening over at DC, it seems that Scott Snyder might be the one writing that book in the future, and I honestly believe that Marvel Comics scored one of the biggest hires in a decade with Christopher. He is one of the best comic book writers out there and the prospect of having him as an exclusive Marvel Comics writer excites me one hell of lot more than Bendis putting the underpants over Superman pants at DC(ugh).

Who reads Black Panther? Black Panther?!” But they were adamant, and Priest acquiesced — with “one basic stipulation: Black Panther could not be ‘a black book.’ ” Even though he had become the best interpreter of race in the game, Priest saw something troubling happening to his career. “I stopped being a writer, or being thought of as a writer,” he tells me, “and started being thought of as a black writer.”
Knowing that Priest is one of the best comic book writers out there that truly doesn't want the stigma of being a "black writer", what would you want him to write? I say give him one of the big books and other where he can do whatever he wants and make a gem like Deathstroke. So I'm thinking maybe Wolverine, one of the Avengers or X-Men books and give him free reign over the Inhumans or The Defenders, maybe? What about you? Are you excited that one of the best Marvel writers is back home? 'Cause I know I am.
