Damn that is impressive props to the Rock and Kevin Hart.
Its been detailed on a thread I made a couple weeks ago on how its done.
"The story so far: As usual, Ginger and I are engaged in our quest to find out what the hell is going on and save humanity from my nemesis, some bastard who is presumably responsible." - Sir Digby Chicken Caesar.
“ Well hell just froze over. Because CM Punk is back in the WWE.” - Jcogginsa.
“You can take the boy outta the mom’s basement, but you can’t take the mom’s basement outta the boy!” - LA Knight.
"Revel in What You Are." Bray Wyatt.
People will enjoy any crap, especially the foreign box office. More something is dumb, the more a larger population will connect to it, sadly. I remember the first Thor had a disappointing domestic box office(made sense since it was rather bland and average) but made huge money overseas.
Good for them!
I like the Rock. I like Karen Gillan. The director did Walk Hard, one of my favorite movies. Plus, I love how it became #1 weeks into its run; disrupts the opening weekend paradigm!
Jumanji was good for what it is but it just came out at the right time. Star Wars wasnt getting favorable reactions and Jumanji was all you could really turn too. Plus CEntral Intelegence did well and that wasnt kid friendly like this plus Jumanji has a name ppl know and love from theyre childhood. The rock and Kevin Hart have serious star power aswell. I wouldnt put Kevin Hart on my top 5 comedians of all time list but as far as fame hes getting up theyre with Pryor and Murphy. And the Rock is thee biggest star in the world at the moment. I bet Rampage makes money out the ass aswell.
I would not have bet on a JUMANJI remake beating anything else released in 2017, and yet...
