    Default Titan's Robotech

I have read the first two issues of the new Robotech series and I'm really enjoying it.
The art is very sleek and stylish (and not what you would often expect from a licensed title, much less one based on a cartoon) and while the story, thus far, stays true to the anime it's not an exact word-for-word adaptation and features a few updates that modernize it without betraying the source material.

Is anyone else here reading it?

Yep, I've been digging it and with each issue it becomes more and more its own separate thing from the original TV show. We've already had the death of a major character that changes everything by issue #4 and hints of multiple mysteries that are unique to this version of Robotech (possibly involving time travel). It's definitely not just another comics adaptation, but ultimately a reinvention of the series, IMO.
