Ok, I feel kind of gipped then. Ahmed on X-Factor would've been amazing. I'd rather have had Rosenberg on Exiles and Ahmed on X-Factor.

Well, he can't have been the right fit for the book. It wouldn't have worked if he hadn't been invested in the characters and vibe of X-Factor. Instead, as time went on, he was deadset on exploring alternate realities and timelines, which is what the Exiles are known for. That said, I probably won't read Exiles, as the only characters that have my attention there are Blink + Valkyrie.
I'm not 100% about Rosenberg for X-Factor, just based on his other Marvel stuff. Phoenix Ressurection was a bit of a mixed bag and didn't deliver all that I'd hoped. Secret Warriors was subpar; Kingpin and Rocket Raccoon weren't my cup of tea either, but that's more to do with the characters themselves rather than the quality of the writing. We'll see what happens. If nothing else, I'm glad that he seems to know his X-Men pretty well, and is invested in the characters. That's a good start.
I think Exiles has a terrible roster.
Blink and Morph is the minimum I expect from an Exiles book. It pretty much isn't an X-Book anymore.
It's interesting that Wil Moss asked him to pitch for X-Factor since Moss is not an X-editor.
I'm very surprised the opportunity wasn't taken to make use of existing alternate reality characters. It's the perfect opportunity to pull Old Man Logan, Bloodstorm, Jimmy Hudson, Rachel Grey etc. away from 616. Very disappointed that neither Nocturne or Ruby Summers made the team either.
True. Perhaps there are more changes in the Marvel Offices?
This basically confirms that this book is probably X-Factor though, and the one where Madrox is.
"We come into this world alone and we leave the same way. The time we spent in between - time spent alive, sharing, learning together... is all that makes life worth living." - Jean Grey
I KNOW!!! X-Factor is a funny one for me as I only like about half of the characters that have been members, but I'm very excited. Multiple Man, Siryn and hopefully Rictor & Shatterstar. Eh for Strong Guy + M. Wolfsbane I hope returns to the New Mutants as I'd rather see her with Dani & Illyana again. And sounds like Rosenberg is going to mix it up a little, throwing in some NXM and who knows what else.
Given how well they've been selling, the main books anyway, it's not surprising. And they're getting the rights to the X-Men back, so of course Marvel is going to milk it.
Again I don't have a problem with Madrox being alive, but please keep Terry FAR away from him, she deserves FAR better than to be used again to make him look good...
What I find most interesting of resurrecting Madrox is how Layla has been all this time since his death (the Black Bolt book and Phoenix Resurrection confirmed he actually died).
I would like to have Rahne in the book, but single, and with Tier alive (which would be like having a teenage son)
X-men Green please.
At this point, I'll go for anything that isn't misery porn where Rahne is concerned. She's had a crappy decade. It's the kind of thing that makes me take issue with the whole "we only put these characters through hell to see them triumph" spiel writers at the Big Two trot out once in a while. Some characters get way too much hell and too little triumph when the next guy to come along hasn't been watching the scales.
Warpath's the only one the first post got right, since he is in Rosenberg's Astonishing X-Men. Skids was in Tales of Suspense.
